Assassin's Creed screens

Assassin's Creed screens

One week exactly before the official launch of Assassin's Creed on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, Ubisoft gives us what may be the last batch of images for the hero Altaïr. PC users will have to play the patience card until the beginning of 2008 to taste the adventures created by the Prince of Persia team.

Not much to say, really. Every screenshot always looks the same. Usually that's not a good sign. We'll see though.

It's bound to all look the same yeah, but seeing as the missions are very specific though they can do a lot to alter the tone of the game with those. There's also lighting to play around with to create different moods and atmospheres.

I just hope it doesn't have GTA style day/night cycles. That's a sure fire way to take the personality out of EVERY time of day by having it last a maximum of 30 seconds.

Of course, if it kicks stunning amounts of ass it'll be hard to stay upset about these things, but yeah, I'm a fan of contrasting too. I found Oblivion dull beyond imagination, but Morrowind showed that you can have a consistent believable world and still keep it fresh and surprising.

I read there were 3 towns right? Whats the point in having 3 towns when they all pretty much look the same, might aswell had made one big one.

Next weekend i'll most likely be glued stuck in front of my tv assassinating people. Hope it will be sweet...any game that combines PoP with Tenchu must be great, no? :)

can't wait to see the reviews for this because whilst i've been boweled over by the game's graphics and ideas, there's still something not sitting quite right with me yet.
that and i'm really trying to wittle down my 'must have in november' games list.

I'm not too concerned... I will probably buy AC, but I can wait some more days till some good reviews are out.
A friend of mine saw it on the big screen in a local cinema (on the biggest one), and he said AC looks and plays awesome.

In the meantime ME will more than please my gamer heart. :)

best regards,

So i'm not the only one thinking that Morrowind was Much better then Oblivion :)

For the day/night cycle thing, i think we should have already seen some changes in lighting in the videos if it was happening so fast. Maybe they went for fixed night/sunset cities to keep "photography" varied.

Anyway, i still don't know if i'm buying first this one or Mass Effect...

@ Blim:

Why have you disabled hotlinking screenshots in other forums than GAF or your own? In the past, this only was the case during high-traffic events such as E3. It's not only stealing your bandwidth, it's also spreading word on Gamersyde's greatness. It would be highly appreciated if hotlinking will be re-enabled in the future.

Maybe they didn't make the link that "pants" in English and "pants" in American-English are two different things?

Erhm, why don't you just save the screenshots, upload 'em to Imageshack, then give a link where you got 'em from?

Why not just spread the word by shooting a link to the news page instead?
