I really cannot wait for this to be released. This is the first PS3 game I really can't wait for. The demo made it even more difficult to wait.

Yeah I've played the demo like 10 times. Just saw the intro to the demo for a second time and I'm totally getting it. It might not rack up the really big scores, because it definitely has a few niggles here and there, but it's won my heart.

ND's comedic timing is as good as ever too. The plain "shit!" when he realises it's a statue in front of him is so awesome. Had it been timed just a liiittle bit different it wouldn't be as chuckle-worthy. :)

game looks uninteresting and clumsy IMO, but its a stunning graphical showpice for the PS3

As a 360 owner I've got a bit of a cheek to be jealous considering all the goodies we've had lately, but this title looks better and better every time I see it. Me wants :)

I'm a 360 owner too and although this game won't get goty or recieve 9/10 10/10 scores it's definitely a game I wouldn't mind owning or having in my collection. MS need to get more platforming/adventure games for their system

Graphics do look good cutscenes are very well done also.

Not my kind of game, cause of all the shooting, shame really.

Another 360 owner here envious of this game. Man, I really want to play something different like this. If I play one more game with aliens in it, I am going to blow my own head off. This may tempt me to get a PS3.

if they is something i've noticed in ps3 3 games is how the story is told with nicely cut scenes

I wasn't all that impressed with the demo. It was very pretty, but there were aspects of the gameplay that bugged me. For instance, I've become much more aware of how enemies are deployed and new ones spawned. Putting you in an arena and having a stream of enemies climb over the wall and drop in for several minutes just left me underwhelmed.

id probobly think about getting a ps3 for this game if only ther were less shooting and more puzzles/exploration... seems like all ive been doing for the last few months on my 360 is shooting, i dont need any more of it thanks lol!!

That game just doesn't look right. Sure they have nice running animations but...the shooting system looks clunky, and the explosions still look weird.

the cutscenes seem to deliver a movie-like experience, i like that.. the gameplay looks alright as well gj gamersyde

It plays very well and i liked the demo so I am going get this.

Looks like a really good game. I was thinking of picking up a PS3 sometime soon; now that they've brought the price down to $400. If I do, I would definitely pick this up.

That said, I have one little, tiny, minuscule gripe: Why are all the game mechanics ripped from Gears of War? The reticule, cover system and (from another game site's video) the weapon selection menu are straight from epic's title. Even the "look here" indicator, when the plane is flying by, is a tool that Gears used.

Like I said, it's a minor gripe and in no way will keep me from purchasing and enjoying the game. It's just that you don't usually see (or maybe I don't notice) that many game mechanics borrowed from the same game. Does anyone know if there is some shared development house here. I was half expecting to see him do a "roadie run".

well superchunk, a lot of games borrow elements from other past games..... if it works, why not? In the end, it's really down to how well the game plays and how much enjoyment you get out of it.

Last year Team ninja was my favourite Dev. They were always able to pump out amazing graphics and engaging gameplay elements in thier titles (e.g. ninja gaiden). THis Gen they have definitely Fallen off and i think the crown will have to go to Naughty Dog. THey have pumped out 3 amazing games this gen, in such a small space of time, while other devs have been complaining and havent even released one. They really make devs like Silicon Knights look very lazy. I am amazed at the graphical level this game has been able to attain. I highly suspect my xmas present is a ps3 (98% sure). THis will be one game i will be more than happy to purchase and enjoy. Keep up the Good work naughty Dog...By the way i forgot to mention..Cant even believe they have resistance: 2 in pre alpha stages already. That takes the P*SS considering some devs have been in pre alpha for 7-8 years (looking at you Silicon knights). lololol
