Last minute change! The embargo for Assassin's Creed has been lifted here in Europe too. By chance I had already 2 videos uploaded, so here they are. At Ubisoft's request I'm not showing the real beginning of the game. If you know what happens, please don't spoil the surprise for the others! More videos, including from the PS3 version, and our impressions will follow later today and tomorrow.

Update 2: Added a very short but still interesting video comparison of the 360 and PS3 versions. Thanks to TTP for the PS3 part :)
Update 3: Fourth and likely last video of the 360 version is up. Let me know if you want to see a video of what happens in the city.
Update 6: The PS3 video is back, this time with the right framerate. Again sorry about that.
Update 7: Since some people have claimed that the retail PS3 version ran far better than the review one, I went and bought it to make sure I didn't unfairly compare both versions. So I've done another comparison video, and you'll notice that the end result is still the same. I'm eagerly awaiting some people arguing that my PS3 is either broken, my capture hardware is buggy, or I've simply cheated the video so the 360 version looked better.

I was looking forward to see some of the screens from the "spoiler" part. Im kinda interested on how that part looks like ^^
But I understand the reason of taking it out. Most ppl out there will be greatly surprised :D

another 4 magazines/sites gave it ratings between 9 and 10, read the one on gamesradar, it's thorough and exhaustive and points out flaws without building the review on them

What exactly does "embargo has been lifted" mean? it can be found on the shelves? you can buy it?
or is it just tied to the videos?
I've preordered and paid the game already and I'm just wishing I'll be first to get it from the local store....
