Yeah, that was awesome chapter.

It's never a good idea to attack a grenade lauching jeep with a motorbike.

And a woman that can actually reverse a car, just wow.

the end of that sequence is "amusing" not to mention BALLSY..The main character and the pirates leader "with the nice fade!" have an odd relationship..i enjoyed how it played out.

Man I can't wait for this! It's a pulp fiction dream come true, combined with some of the most appealing game mechanics to come out of third person adventures and shooters in the last five years. Indeed, I can't think of anything not to like.

This part was awesome. You also get to control a jet ski a few times, but it's not as fun.

We get this in the UK next friday and I can`t wait!. Seeing as Halo-3 was such a let down (in my honest opinion), I`m trading in my Legendary edition for this game as it won`t cost me a penny that way.

I`m going to get major hassle for saying this, but here goes:

My pc is a beastly rig of power and I recently bought Crysis to play on it (which too went back for being crap). Yes it looked great on high settings etc etc blah blah, but I honestly think that Uncharted holds its own in the face of Cryteks shooter!.

The shadowing is all real time, the trees all fall from the explosions you create, the leaves/branches all deform in real time and after playing both games I can honestly say that Crysis offered nothing `major` when compared to this awesome looking piece of gaming!!!.

Am I alone on this one?, or does anybody else agree with me?. I was utterly stunned with how well Naughty Dog (ND) have done with the ps3 hardware. Out of all the developers, ND and Insomniac have really shone this year for the ps3 and it makes me glad that the ps3`s power can now be proven `on-screen` rather than on paper lol.

(Crysis/Halo fans please go easy on me rofl).

I think I should ask this game for christmas, THEN get Heavenly Sword.

Yeah, Frosty, you're right. Okay, didn't play Crisis, can't say anything 'bout that, but with Uncharted you're absolutely right. Yes, ND and Insomniac really know how to handle the PS3. But not every developper does, not even big companies like EA... that's sad. But I think give the bunch a more year.

Eh? uncharted looks good but it is nowhere near crysis running in dx10, but then again you need a really expensive computer to run it.

The enviroments in uncharted are kind of small and enclosed, crysis is one huge completely open ended enviroment and it still manages to look alot better than uncharted.

And i just don't like the look of the jungle/forests in uncharted, it doesn't look natural.

Truth Be told Crysis anit that fun for me at all ..like you say it looks Great if not the best looking game out there... but come on how many people have the money to waste on a pc for it? 10% of the PC macket? less?

As for Uncharted..... i still don,t see how alot of you think its one of the best looking games =S... i anit blind but this game anit out of the world system seller for sure

I sort of agree with this. At least in the demo. Plats look really weird, like they're lit wrong.

However there are two things that help matters. For one, the game is openly stylized, well beyond what Crysis is doing, and secondly, the rest of the game doesn't look quite as fake as some of those early moments of the demo.

The major difference between Crysis and Uncharted is scale.

Crysis looks absolutely gorgeous, and it's over a huge area.
Uncharted looks absolutely gorgeous, but it's over a small(er) scale.


It's just like Gears of War. People say GoW looks better than Halo, but I disagree. Sure, GoW looks better at a glance, but Halo is exponentially larger, and thus more impressive (in my eyes).
The same situation applies for Crysis.

Out of curiosity, Doesn't Gamersyde have a copy of the game?

Try to play Crysis on ultra high, and if you can't, then google on how to enable DX10 in XP.

I agree with you 100% on the GFX Thing ....... but if the games fun to play who cares about GFX? Crysis looks bloody unreal ...but i can,t same to get into it as it bein fun to play... as for Uncharted.. i mite get it after Xmas (just looks like a PITFALL rip off really)

lets not even start on games with Forests lol .... god it sames to be the wo hit thing this gen .... JUst like Water was last =P

i think deserts and africa are gonna be next years fashionable settings, with resident evil 5 and farcry 2 leading the way. and halo 3 was a little early,so maybe it set the trend for africa based games in 08' :p

If think people that don't have 360 or a good PC find it looks amazing but people like me that have 360 and good PC to run games it doesn't really stand out look that great.
