imo they aren't really that creative or inspiring. Everything else looks good though, and with a bit of polish here and there it can visually look really good.
Like people have said above as long as it isn't just constantly shooting hoards of aliens and the gameplay and story is well thought out, i'll be buying (Y).
i hope you see his face at some point, becasue with the green glow behind the mask he almost doesnt look human.
The video`s atmosphere kinda reminded me of Alien, when Ripley`s onboard the Nostromo, trying to seek out an alien life form she`s yet to see with her own eyes (or us as the audience too). The atmosphere it created was truly spectacular and it`s the same here.
The only problem is, that in the trailer, all the hard work just seemed to come undone for me when all of a sudden.... "Roooaaaarrr !!!".... erm.....there`s your monster/s people!. The atmosphere died a death, as being kept in the dark not knowing what the hell you`re facing is far scarier IMO, than the game simply blurting out the enemies too soon.
You all remember AvP-2 on the pc?...... oh my god! rofl. I changed my kegs more times during the first half an hour of gameplay than ever before in my entire life!.
Atmosphere in that game truly shows us all how it`s done and to me, facing off against an angry group of aliens in any horror game isn`t quite as scary as the parts leading up to the point of delivery.
It still looks good, but I`ll leave my final judgements until it launches.
Jericho in space?
This game is sci-fi...it is not about demons and angels, satan vs god :S
Its about a engineer trying to survive.
on topic, this looks good enough to me. and from what i read about the game, its the atmosphere that they are focusing on the most, so im definitely interested to see more.
