Suda's one of very few developers who knows how to make interesting games these days.

Anyone know the full rankings of the assassins? 6-10 were only shown in that vid. Number 1 is that helmet armour guy, i know that crazy girl with the baseball bat is number 3, surprised she's that strong, heh cool .

That HUD is a little distracting IMO. I thought transparency is what all the developers are striving for these days.

Suda has issues with gameplay,(Samurai Champloo /Killer 7, excellent stories, eh gameplay) i'm more of a storydriven kinda guy, so he's cool with me..but KILLER 7 could have been more than just a cult classic if he had tried harder with gameplay..i see the same issue here..it'll sell more because cooking mama 2 will get boring, but just LOOKING at the game play i'm bored..i'll still buy this when it hits the PS2 (it will) but if Suda merged his superior storytelling and character designs with Itagaki's action gameplay design (ALL of his designs are uninspired cliches, admit it) , something special would come into being..

I really can't see what it is that you guys are so excited about. It looks really quite dull, the gameplay looks incredibly repetitive, the camera is awful (as is the turning circle), the style is nice, but the shadowing is way too extreme and the repeating sound effects are dreadful! (yes, I know it was recorded at too high a volume).

Im not sure what to think of Suda 51, it's nice to see that they are willing to try something new, but killer7 was flawed not just a bit flawed but really flawed, to the point of almost being unplayable and the plot was just trying to hard to be original and clever but it just failed and it became complete nonsense.
No more heroes does look alot more playable, But the dialogue is just horrible and infantile, as it stands now the writing is at about the same level as a c-grade german porno.......with retated actors.....on acid......reading a script written by a monkey.....a retarted monkey.

All that criticism aside i really hope they pull it off, the wii is in desperate need of some good games that make utilize the wii-mote in innovative ways.

I'm surprised the game is getting such reviews, almost seems bought out (we all know reviews are shit at the very least).

The gameplay looks horribly dull, graphics look like a Dreamcast game, and the only reason I think people like it is because they focused on making it EDGY AND COOL, so the teens like it. It's just a bunch of swearing, gore, and edgy stuff...
