Xbox 360 PS3

Ubisoft releases some new images of Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, now planned to be released in 2008. It looks suprisingly worse than before.

Don't care by the fact it's WW2. I seemed to have side stepped a lot of WW2 games that flooded the market so don't feel like the subject matter is over done.
Also, yeh what happened to the graphics, first thing i had thought was that it's been massively downgraded. Is a shame but hopefully if it stays close to the gameplay demo from E3 it should still be a fun game to play, so still looking forward to it

Seriously lacking in the visual department than what we have seen in the past, looks terrible tbh.

Yea... The textures have been squashed since the last screenshots.

Note to developers: DONT SHOW WHAT YOU CANNOT PRODUCE!!!!!

The screenshot are out of date, the developers verified it and said that it looks better then this and better then the what it was at E3. No need to worry for you people who care about the graphics, don't forget it will be the gameplay that will make it great and better then CoD/MoH.

Whoah. WTF happened here? A delay usually improves a game's quality, not degrade it to the point where it is a shadow of its former self.

I'm guessing that they have found a solution to the low fps problem that plagued the nice graphics version.

Woah. The visuals got a serious downgrade. That doesn't really surprise me these days. Happens an awful lot.
Totally agreed. The game looked so good, guess it didn't run well.

For a war there is not much going on. Looks really empty as if nothing happened.

WWII is a fine setting for shooters. You're all going to get burned out on modern combat games eventually too. Old will be the new new, eventually. This game shouldn't be compared to Call of Duty, at all. It's more like R6, only.. ya know.. good (*I hope*)?

A good game is a good game.. the time period really doesn't matter much to me. Personally, I love bolt action rifles (and the M1 carbine) so a good WWII game will always appeal to me.

Hey hey hey now! the game still looks fairly ok, Ok so its not the "hot stunna" that it was before, but its on an average on the graphics scale for "next-gen" games at this moment in time

From Gearbox:

Those screens are dated and were taken from unfinished segments of the game. Don't worry too hard. These things happen from time to time. The shots and videos you've seen up to this point are what you can and should expect from top to bottom in Hell's Highway.

Even areas like those seen in UbiDays have improved visually since this past summer!

Just remember, Rome wasn't built in a day. Somewhere in the middle it was just miles of stacked stones, pillars, and structures with no ceilings.

The wheels are turning. Hopefully soon you guys will see new media that more accurately depict the quality of the final game.

Gooday!
At least Bioware had some people to defend themselves when there were some bad Mass Effect screens. Too bad that Gearbox doesn't have that much fans... :(

i dont mind if theres world war II games but if you're going to make a wwII game it has to be good. these days, no one will accept average with wwII so if these guys are doing wwII then i expect that this game will good. as for these pics, i bet you it could be like what happend with mass effect when they released those crappy images of it. it could be from an older build or a part of the game that has not been completely finished. if not, it still looks good but they isnt good for them if they are still setting it in wwII. ouishi!

I'm a big fan of the 1st. And this is the only remaining WW2 title that interests me, because the story is a big focus. It's very band of brothers like.

Should be good.

last time they showed BiA it could not keep a steady frame rate... and now a huge visual downgrade... i think gear box is focusing too much on badlands... this was suppose to be out a LONG time ago

PS2 version
PS3 version.
We need some Vietnam games. I don't know what the deal is with the constant WW2 rehashing, but jungle fights and the like would be amazing on these new generation of consoles. Look at Crysis, Turok or any other FPS with good jungle environments and tell me it wouldn't be great to have a good developer make a Vietnam title.
