First video of Duke Nukem Forever since the last six years, for a game we're waiting since, hmm... 1998 ? Maybe even before that, actually. Anyway, here's the thing, and it's a very short montage of real-time cinematics. It'll do it while waiting for a full blown trailer.

imo no ue3 look different

It's quite difficult to judge what engine they're using simply based off of a short teaser trailer. I can tell you one thing though--despite what the haters are saying--it looks a good deal better than Doom 3 or even ETQW visually.

Still looks like its early, so I won`t be too judgemental yet. It does indeed look like Doom-3, but that`s no bad thing really.

I just love this guys quotes to death!!. Him and Serious Sam are the kings of gaming cheese, but they can easily bring tears of laughter to any mans face :0)

Duke is all about gameplay. BTW it was great hearing that song again :D. Still looking forward but don't want to get my hopes up, because I know it will take some time before this game sees the light of day.

I think it looks awesome. Hmm seems like almost all are complaining about graphics. I think it looks great and thats only teaser video. Who cares about graphics it is next Duke game :D Teaser had it all Duke + Music + Duketalk = Legendary video :)

Well people just whine about the graphics a lot in games that were proficient in graphics when they were new. Duke Nukem 3D came out between Doom 2 and Quake on PC, and it had middle of the road graphics between those games, but it was one of the better or possibly the best looking non-arcade game at the time.

The graphics in this one don't look so great, but that's not the biggest worry.

I hope the gameplay is good, I hope it turns out similar to that 01 trailer, but more awesome and fun to play.

I also hope it turns up on consoles, looking at the graphics and the current market I think it's very likely, plus that surfer girl said it would be so, and AFAIK she's been right about everything. PLUS back when that tiny 'teaser' shot was released, I think I remember someone at 3dRealms on their forum basically confirming it would be for 360 and PS3 as well as PC.

Either way, I hope it turns out good. Hell, I would build a new PC if it turned out PC exclusive and it was awesome.

3D Realms said it's a definite maybe--most likely, even--but nothing in that order has been confirmed officially. I hope they don't release it on consoles, the haters don't deserve DN4E :P

If you digg up info you can find what the last game engine they use are, I'm to lazy to digg that info up but I know I've read it many times over.

All I remmeber is, no it's not UE3 engine neither is it the Doom engine, it's a swedish developed game engine, thats all I remmeber.

I like him, and I give a shit. I can't tell you how many people give said shit.

I played the original Duke Nukum, years before DN3D came out. I feel the first episode of DN3D was more fun than the other ones by FAR, and that Blood and Shadow Warrior were BOTH better than DN3D (all used the Build engine), but still, I care.

Okay, that was a pointless stereotype (even though 80% of the haters are console-only gamers)--so 3D Realms just needs to invent some sort of filter that prevents haters from playing this game when it winds up being awesome.

Plus, if they cared much about the money, they would have released this game in some for several years ago.

It'll be interesting to see if we ever find out what exactly went on with development of this. I think it's probably like Prey where they didn't really work on it much for many years worth of time. It's impossible to sell a game that's only 10% complete. People whine about unfinished games, but sadly they're usually 90% complete and just needed a few more months at most. You don't ever see the games that are really barely worked on.

In the mean time though I believe 3d Realms did a lot of publishing of games, it's really a more profitable venture, and take a look at EA and Activision to see what I mean.

But I agree the pursuit of money isn't helping gaming, or any entertainment medium. I think we'd see a real upturn in the quality of movies, music and games if they basically got rid of all copyright law. Artists would do things out of self expression and the desire to entertain and not just for paychecks and payouts.
