RTL Games and Synetic unveil the first series of images for their racing videogame Crash Time, in development for the Xbox 360 and PC. The similarity with Burnout from a style point of view is pretty clear, there's even a formula one! The player takes part of an elite police squad called Cobra 11 and must complete various challenges varying from a helicopter chase to reconaissance runs in tanks.
All of this stuff is splitted into missions with three difficulties, forty tracks and hundreds of kilometers of road. Fans will be able to play with a friend on a same console in split screen or watch their awesomeness via the replay system built in-game.

Wow... can't really say the gameplay isn't varied! But yeah even the title suggests a Burnout rip, not to say that Burnout wasn't a rip of midtown madness that was a rip of ect ect.
Atleast it looks very very clean, which im 99.9% it won't look like come release :P

after i saw them shots i was think *Wreckless from the xbox 1* looks ok more real then Burnout goin from that youtube video

Crashes shown seem a little unrealistic in comparison to Burnout. Rip off or not, it looks hot.

reminds me of wreckless, i loved that game... being able to unlock the tank at the end... the graphics were awesome

Anyways it looks kinda cool to me, is it really open world? Like Test Drive Unlimited? If it's bad, why is it bad? It looks more varied than Burnout Paradise...

Wait. Did 2 whole people just say they loved Wreckless? *shakes self out of daze*
So, the youtube vid of Crash Time makes me think of the game as more like a merging of Stuntman and Burnout. Stuntman missions/obstacles with the free frenetic driving/crashing of Burnout. Just without any of the flair or polish.
Not great quality overall. I would at this stage that this is clearly not a viable alternative to Burnout, unless the price is significantly less at retail.

Wreckless was an awesome game at the time! Ok, the handling was suspect to say the least, but it was the closest to Chase HQ on a modern platform that I'd seen for a long time! And the replays... :o)
I'll be getting this one, esp if it's a budget release. I really like the lighting on this!

The bloom effects were incredible.
