Page 1 2 >>Well concept is very interesting thats for sure, I think they are going for something like Breakdown but more advanced.
I game I am gonna keep my eye out for.
there is no WAY those are real in-game or even in-engine shots. but they look good whatever they are.
I laughed when I saw the helicopter SHOOTING at the guy. Did the army suddenly decide that parkour doers are terrorists or something?
And if I remember right, she is some sort of an assassin, or agent thats why the chopper is shooting.
I just don't understand why they had to go for a fps perspective in this one, it just puts too many limitations on the player and the experience.
But since i am a big fan of dice and their previous creations i am confident that they will make a good game here.
*tinfoil* unless this is something EA forced them to make *end tinfoil* :)
I don't see why they couldn't be realtime. Textures aren't amazing or anything. Just an extremely bright use of colors. I like it.
edit: Also there's absolutely no aliasing in these pictures.
Edit : It seems the decision to make it an fps game was a very deliberate move, they are trying to create a more realistic way to portray the fps viewpoint.
Why not? Just has to be perfectly tuned color and contrast settings, the polygons themselves dont have to be so numerous, the buildings probably consist of less than 100 each. And the textures on the buildings are somewhat non-existant too except for the windows :)
It's not a guy, its Faith, the asian female with face paint.

Female Playerchar ? Boooringgggg.

Almost everyone above me is an idiot.
Shall have to keep tabs on this one - after reading the links, the game looks really innovative.
Is this a 2008 release?
Is it only me who found it more exhilarating running from the soldiers than actually entering combat with them on AC? Feels like DICE is aiming at utlising that feeling and amplifying it ALOT :D Yummy...
