Sony releases a lot of pretty images as well as a very badly encoded trailer of MLB 08: The Show. I don't have a clue if the gameplay of this series is good or not, but graphic-wise it looks very promising.

I assume that is real time as the character animations seem really slow/strange

I know you guys are joking but if they implemented that , it would add lots of character to this game and maybe even stir up bad press which is good press.

Their faces do look a little weird, but everything else is stunningly good, unbelievably good. Cloth, shadows, and other parts of their uniforms. You can see the shadow mapping artifacts, so it probably is for real though.

The league would never allow a company to put such bad things in the game
Hence when Blitz lost the license they put all sorts of corruption and messed up stuff in the game

The PS2 version played better than the PS3 version last year, guess that was cuz it was its first year but im expecting great things from this years version. Graphics look like they got a good bump too.
