A few UT3 mods video

Our friend DjMizuhara keeps doing some great work and sent us this nice video of Unreal Tournament 3 showing a few mods in action on the PS3. It sure opens up the consoles FPS experience a lot!
Update: For the numerous mentally lacking people (or too rabid fanboys, or both?) out there, we are only showing MODS here. Again, MODS, as in done by amateurs on their spare time. UT3 is a FPS game, what we are showing here is a mod allowing for a Gears of War like camera, but in NO WAY can it allow direct comparison to GoW. And the last map shown is a re-creation of a Halo 2 map.

It's because the game is larger in scale with much more players.

User made maps can look a lot worse because of the dull lighting and repetitive textures users use when making a map.

user created map, what do you expect. also, theres a better 3rd person cam mod, doesnt screw the aiming up as much as this one.

UT needs to be played first person view . How else can you see the gourgeous weapons in full glory ... ?

Thats because that mod is a copy a halo 2 map "wizard".

it's actually a Halo:CE map, Wizard. Warlock in Halo 2 was a remake of Wizard.

Why are there so many stupid comments here?

First, slabs is right, UT3 on PS3 is 30fps, now Gears did drop a lot more in FPS on 360, but never to zero fps, heh.

These are some of the ugliest user maps too. You should show Night in the Park, Elevation, Yard...

I hope MS allows user mods for unreal. I know they make a ton of money off maps for gears and other games but I would rather pay 10 dollars more for a game that allows me to make modded maps etc rather then pay for individual maps. Does anyone know if the speed can be adjusted as well from mutators or settings? I wonder if a more gears like experience can be had from UT3.

UT in 3rd person fits on a console I guess.. On PC I don't think many people would like it, because it slows the game down even more.. 1st person, FOV 100+, no gunmodel, that's where it's at for me when it comes to games like this..
