Famitsu likes Smash Bros.

Like every week, japanese magazine Famitsu dedicates many of its pages for upcoming videogames in this country. Even if a delay has been announced (one week in Japan, one whole month in US) for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, here's a ton of scans with a perfect (40/40) review from our friends again from the magazine.

Translation of the review from NeoGAF
"Famitsu Review:
The SSBB Famitsu review...
This time, single-player is also big. Adventure mode is pretty lengthy and enjoyable and the story's presentation is great. Thanks to the "Final Smash" moves with surprising shows of strength, unforeseen abilities arise. Options for control, sound, and so on are perfect and also deserve a hats-off.
The new "Final Smash" moves with brilliant effects that can be used by any character are refreshingly fun, right up there with the rest of the battles. I'm glad the single-player mode is also bountiful. "Adventure Mode" keeps such a good tempo of movies and action that one easily forgets the time while playing. Awesome!
Appealing production and features. Also, the movements of the characters are dynamic yet subtle. The brilliant actions of the "Final Smash" moves are a must-see. There are tons of stages, and the single-player mode perfect. Not only is there a stage editor, but detailed statistics from the game are presented. Nice.
The movements of the assembled all-stars are highly-polished, single-player is perfect and easy to get into, and the challenge of collecting herein is more than enough. With outstanding art direction, this game really lets you feel the power of motion. There are new things to discover with each play, with both joy and sorrow to be savored in battle."

The delay is nothing, it will take me just as long to decide which character to start playing with.

I don't see why Famitsu's score should matter. They've openly admitted that they give scores based on hype and how much the publishers pay. Not that the game will suck or anything, but I know it won't be perfect.

I do hope your right Kudgel, he was the character I always used. I forgot that the wireframe kinda guys were made from him in the last one so lets hope that stays true.
Dont want to have to get used to using a different character :p

everyone and their mom know famitsu would give this game a perfect score. they've probably had this review written since before the Wii was launched.

Famitsu also gave FF12 a perfect score, a game which is possibly the worst FF game in recent times, so make what you will of this score...

FF12 was awesome game but this... far from perfect. But lets see, final judgment can be made not until the game is released but if this is even slightly similar to gamecubes smash melee, then it sucks :)

I don't know, to me its seems like the perfect Smash game. For the one that follows the dojo it really looks like they have though of everything, every little detail. It may not be The perfect game, but as far as it goes for Smash Bros this seems perfect enough, the Smash brand won't be better than this. If that deserves a full score is probably up to one and another.
