After the forgettable action-RPG spin-off "Circle of Doom", the south-korean developer Blue Side unveils the somptuous first images of Kingdom Under Fire II, real sequel to the original Xbox game. KUF II will return to its action-STR roots, as well as some new MMO elements. The game is planned to be released on Xbox 360 and PC when it's done.

Looks fantastic! The two KuF games on the Xbox were nothing short of incredible strategy epics. I really hope this one delivers.

This whole thing- announcement and images- was released on Kotaku this morning and according to THAT article- this is an MMORTS and it's PC only. So... who's got it right?

The Kotaku article came from Eurogamer.net and it says. "Kingdom Under Fire II is due out on PC and consoles in 2009."

Jigen, godhandiscen and Kethmach.... can you guys read? The Kotaku article says nothing about it being PC only, and they also said its going to bring the franchise back to its roots and then some with an all new, massively multiplayer version of Kingdom Under Fire a MMOARTS (Massively Multiplayer Online ACTION Real-Time Strategy Game), which Gamersyde also pretty much described same way: "KUF II will return to its action-STR roots, as well as some new MMO elements." I think snoopers must of misspelled action-RTS roots "action-STR roots", but whatever.
It's going to have a single player campaign and a multiplayer part to it. It's not just an MMO.

Excellent! The two xbox1 titles pushed the system quite nicely, and I am sure this will do the same! Draw distance should be improved too (no more Dynasty Warriors-style fogging!). Very nice.

drools and runs out the door TO KOREA!! lol, this just looks sexy. the kuf on original xbox were just amazing games, and this could be just AA material if it gets the multiplayer right, imagine 4 on 4, and 2 of your friends get squashed you go and assist them, while the 4th one is sneaking behind the ennemy.
