Eidos released this first batch of images of Avalanche Studios' Just Cause 2, and it sure does look good. To be released sometimes in 2008 on PS3, 360 and PC.
The first one had very good engine technology. Not many even cared to look but if you waited long enough in the demo the sun would set and you'd see beautiful sun streaks in the mist inside the forests. No other game has had such volumetric fog and lighting since on the consoles.
Yea the game was great looking, but the character animations were horrible in the first. I loved the way you grabbed onto vehicles, but the running on foot combat felt weak. They almost pulled it off. Hopefully in this one they learned and will just make the on foot combat feel like other games out there.
