Page 1 2 >>I won't look at these screenshots and judge...I will wait for in-game motion. Screenshots these days don't do the games any justice...well most of them.
Hopefully the gameplay will be something like this, and I wish the graphics would be more updated.

if the game is fun these graphics will be just fine.
Also, what team is making this? I pray it's not sonic team.
The 1st trailer was awesome. I was hoping for the graphics to come at least close to what seemed like a target render. But they did a worse job than EA did achieving their target :(
Is this for WII? :D
the game doesnt look great but i'm hoping it turns out good. f'n sega messed everything up with their company
And seeing as how sega has destroyed every other classic brand they tried to remake, why would this be any better?
You guys make it an effort to read comments, please stop with the nit-picking of ever little bit. What you guys all seem to want is gears of war, but you don't realize is that the style of that game can't just be applied to others... other games look different, and just assuming everyone is going to add 40 layers of gunk and pixel dirt is ignorant.
However, this game would look amazing with some higher-res textures.
The AA is already pretty good, the lighting looks pretty damn nice, and the character design is cool.
If they'd just touch up on the textures (a LOT) it'd look pretty darn good.

However I have to add, considering we have seen so many good graphics this generation, this doesn't seem to make it as others.
I would say these are early screenshots of early built, and I rather wait to get excited but I won't turn my back on it.
I will keep my eyes on it for sure, besides, its only Q1 of 2008...so it's not like it is gonna be released in 3-4 months.
Remember a game can look alot different with months and months of development.
These screens are the same ones we saw X ages ago, so they really don't say anything about how far along it is. More disconcerting is, however, that it's made by Secret Level, the guys Sega inexpicably bought after the utterly DREADFUL Final Fight Streetwise.
They're also working on the Iron Man game and it's really anybody's guess whether this'll be passable or absolutely worthless.
I do know that all it needs is satisfying slashing of.. people.. in the.. general.. body area.. so if it gets that right I'm pretty much there.

Panzer Dragoon Orta was good
VF5 was good
You really need to stop judging Sega as a whole on the single development team known as Sonic Team. There are a lot more development teams within Sega than just them that are currently much better. Sonic team messed up their own franchises(Sonic and Nights) and have touched no other sega franchise games(thank goodness a different department of ST developed PSU). So of course this game is NOT being developed by them.
There's nothing GOOD about the graphics. Models, lighting, textures, shaders... it's all BAD.
I have no problem with the graphics, especially as we haven't seen it in motion yet. But I have to agree with the other point made - Sega haven't made a single good game in quite some time.
