Xbox 360 PS3

Capcom and their killer thigh simulation is back with a couple of images from Street Fighter IV. The game has yet to be confirmed as a console game, but what the hell - here is finally some 720p resolution action from it.

ChunLi's tits are sagging, you might wanna pick those up a little more Capcom.:)
Unlike other videogame characters, the characters in Street Fighter actually age.

They need to fix body proportions. Some things should not be bigger than other things. And if they said they aren't going to be shifting the camera around like in DBZ Budokai games, why do they keep showing pics like the last 9 pics seen here?

reply or spectator mode. Besides if people what a better glimpse of the characters this the only way since gameplay is strictly 2D.

I'm glad to finally see 720p images, I am blown away at the detail here and its only going to improve. I love how Dhalsim does his crouching fierce and the bands on his arms begin to unravel! Also his skin texture looks great.

Motion blur also looks pretty damn sweet.

CAPCOM where is STHDremix!?!?!

Has no one noticed Ryu's bug eyed stare at Chun-Li's man region?
http://images.gamersyde.com/gallery/public/7590/14...

I hope they add a ton of post-processing to give it the debut trailer feeling, of rice paper and calligraphy ink, but that's wishful thinking. Any way it turns out will be fine with me... unless it's delayed and then dropped.

Those characters look exactly like the action figures they released some time ago, lookey here: http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/dragonbal...

Notice the large feet and hands...I really dig the art-style.

Whats wrong with people here? that graphics look freek'in awesome! The Art Style is one of the most impressive and original I've ever seen in a 3D game. Capcom actually really sticks to the original art style. I guess most people screaming that the graphics suck, have either a eye disease or started gaming in the PSX/PS2 era..

I am actually bored of the current "UE3 brown/grey boring "realistic" graphics".. imo Kameo still looks tons better then anything that's getting released these days on the 360.

dmc4 graphics are bad beacuase of the x360 limitations
if the game was PS3 exclusive it would look as beautifull like Lair or UT3.
Keep your Fanboy opinion to yourself please, go to GS system wars if you want troll we dont need this shit here.....

Well, I think that bug eyed stare comes from the fact that he's being kicked really hard in the stomach/groin area.

Nothing is wrong with the art style. However, they really need to fix body proportions, specifically the gigantic arms and hands, feet, and removing super abs from E honda's fat belly.

Most people screaming that the graphics suck are people who wanted them to keep a 2d style, not have a 3d unreal style or whatever you're talking about. I am admittedly one of them. Judging from the next game Arc System Works(Guilty Gear dev) is working on, I really wished that SF4 would look like that, as high definition hi-res crisply animated sprites look really, really good.

I dunno, most of the characters have funny looking bug eyes. We could sit here all day and nitpick the graphics, but what really matters is the gameplay. Now I'm not making a judgment call one way or the other here, but I'm not going to assume that the producer of CFJ suddenly figured out how to make a SF game so good that it deserved a "4" after it.. I'm cautiously optimistic though.

This goofy style is definitely not coming from there. You want to know what Udon's style is actually being used for? SF2 HD remix for XBLA.

Gameplay wise? From the videos it seems slower than SF3. Which isn't good in my view. Who knows, they might release a SF4 turbo edition.

The games producer has said that he wants SF4 to be more accessible than previous SF games.. which isn't necessarily bad but it could diminish the learning curve dramatically for what some would consider high level play.

Their goal is to make the game a more combo driven, flashy affair than SF3 (or SF2 for that matter). They're replacing parries with a save system with ease of use in mind. The 1up yours guys also noted in the original podcast (where this first debuted in motion) that frame windows seemed looser or more forgiving than in previous SF games.

Don't get me wrong.. I want this game to be great as much as anyone else does, I'm just a little worried, especially given the heritage behind this games production. CFJ is the worst Capcom fighting game period, and it's the only Capcom fighter that I've ever disliked so much that I actually traded it in (the day after I purchased it). Hopefully they've learned a thing (or two or fifty) since they pieced together that glorified mugen hack.

I also don't think we're going to see this game revised in two+ semi-sequels, like previous SF games. Something tells me that if this is successful, we'll be seeing SF5 and SF6 sooner than later. I'd love to be wrong about that.. no SF game has ever been perfect in its first revision, and it often took Capcom multiple tries to really get it right.

I'll be buying it, but I'm trying to manage my expectations accordingly.

I still think the art style is derived from the Udon art style. It's not an exact replica the way that game you mention is going to be, but I still see the influence.
