im quietly looking forward to this, i need a Gears Of War fix, and this looks like a straight clone, which sounds good to me, need a demo tho

I also have no desire to play this game, however there was a half hour special on it on the TV at the weekend, and they somehow made it seem appealing....I dont think its going to be as bad as I originally suspected.

Waiting for a demo, looks good but not a must buy for me right now.

hopefully by the end of the game ..THAT arm you have grows round your whole body that way we don,t have to look at the main guy lol ....anywhos it looks well fun and the GFX anit bad

The last vid I saw quite some weeks ago was really cool. Well, at least it appealed to me ^^ I really like the athmosphere, and the gameplay reminded me a bit of uncharted. A demo would really help making decisions ^^

Looks very cool, finally get to see Haydens full body armor, which I really like.
This game has gotten alot of delays, but I guess it's for the best so they can sort out the stuff they need to do.

I know that DE said a demo will come out before release, which is cool.

I think this game looks to be a winner, there was a gamer tv special UK with this game and imo it looked really good and i may have to purchase it

since the drastic art-change I have completely lost interest in this game and everytime I see new footage or screens, it feels more and more unappealing ... oh well

I hate the character re-design, the should have stayed with what he looked like in the space game, he looked way more handsome in that.

But the game looks like it could be interesting. The new stuff I agree looks cool. Especially Hayden in his full armored suit, that looks sick!

They are identical. And since when has a PS3 game been a jaggy mess? If anyone isn't convinced, due to a fanboyish ignorance *cough* junk *cough* you can see PS3 footage on videogamer.com. Anyway, I wasn't interested about this game until recently. The recent shots of the full armor and the opening B&W level have me interested.

Not all that exciting imo. It has some rather cool stuff going, graphics are alright and the gunplay seems decent enough and some of the bosses look pretty cool.

The Glaive however, the game's main sellingpoint, is incredibly lame and I have yet to see any interesting puzzle solving elements with it. It hurts the pacing of the game, and just doesn't add anything worthy of notion.

The animations are of the worst I've ever seen. They are extremely choppy, no fluidity whatsoever. Just the simple 'glaive-throw move' just looks so awkward and choppy, it's really painfull just watching it.

Other than that, the environments shown thus far are generic and not all that interesting. I don't think I see any reason why I'd get this game over any other shooter out there. I doesn't look bad by all means, but it just doesn't stand out enough to justify a purchase.

When you say Gears of War clone, does this game also have off-line co-op like GOW did? I've beaten GOW 6 times now, but I've never played the single player once. Would probably pick it up if it does have co-op.

Also a little off-topic, but got my sights set on Army of Two and Faith and a .45, and this title would be a nice add to the mix.
