A bunch of not-so-impressive images from Saints Row 2 hit the net last week, and THQ has now responded to them by releasing images from a new build of the game. It looks quite good now at least, so I'm crossing my fingers that we'll see the game in-motion soon.

Everybody complains that the main character of Dark sector looks shit... and with this one you're okay? Well.... not me, sorry. But that's my opinion. Or is it possible to create your own chara?

ya but dark sector wasnt an open ended free roaming game that you can enter and exit buildings without load times either.

my copy of saints row is arriving on friday i just got it only14 pound, i hope its good game. i hope they ll fix the frame rate prob as it was pretty bad when i tryed the demo, sr2 looks more interestin the new screens looking great.

It looks fairly decent.
I say decent. Not terrible. Not "oh those textures look bland". Now, considering that i think it looks decent (which it does as a matter of fact), what i find amazing is that some people have the balls to slate GTA 4 for the way it looks, when it blows the doors and hinges off this game visually. Seriously, compared to GTA 4, this game pails in comparison.

I think this one is looking good as well as GTAIV. As long as Rockstar does their best, GTAIV will probably be the better game, but this one looks good too, and in different ways.

The first Saints Row was a decent GTA knockoff, and served a purpose while we waited for GTA IV. This one looks good too. So I hope they expand upon what they did in the last game because from what I've been reading the next GTA may add enough new features to make me forget that this game ever existed.

Dude.... are you serious??? No you can't be right?
Saints Row might not be anything spectacular but it certainly doesn't do anything wrong in the looks department, en fact its pretty damn nice, whereas GTA IV, just look at the screens, it looks hideous with this weird ass affect over all the images is like - 2 AA to the point where the models are breaking out in some weird spikey variation.
Now i never saw the point in comparing the two, i like saints row, i like GTA, but to say GTA IV blows the graphics of SR 2 out the water is straight up lunacy.
