Sega Superstars Tennis has been showcased in Paris earlier this week. We were there and grabbed a lot of screenshots, a lot of gameplay from the 360 version and even an interview with Steve Lycett, producer of the game that Pipomantis and I have assailed with stupid questions and bad accent.

I've gotta say I've lost a little respect for Sumo now*. They could have done so much more with the game.
I really think they could have catered for the old school hardcore SEGA fan base, whilst also pleasing the kid audience.
edit: *or at least the people who are in charge and making the stupid design choices there.

wow, seeing the jet set radio's character in something other then cell shading looks really weird. doesnt look bad i guess. im pretty sure it wont be tho.

Wow, they are making alot of "those" games aren't they (the crappy gimmicky ones that features all of Nintendo's mascots)
Soon there will be none left to make, which isn't that much of a shame.
PS i'll put a wager on it that Sega Superstars Golf is next.

Looks great fun, but the Green Hill Zone level is so bright that I can't actually see the ball when it's moving fast, the yellow and the green clash. I'm not great with colours, I'm very much hoping the balls are selectable rather than fixed to a stage so I can use the blue one on that stage or something.

Man, why couldn't they have just ditched that Amy girl from Sonic and bring in Knuckles. Amy is a nobody. Thats already a thumbs down. 5 sonic characters, not one of them knuckles. Instead you have the likes of Shadow and Amy, 2 characters that most people hate.

One of these days I'll make a Sonic 2 remake or something myself hah.
By the way, y'all, check out that PS2 NiGHTS game. Fresh graphics, same game..great!
Also, since this game has JSR and other cool characters, I won't be hating at all.
