In preparation for every console, Lego Batman is shown once again with these images with a style we could describe as both well made and funny. Its release date is planned for the Q3 2008, probably to coincide with the release of the movie Batman: The Dark Knight, awaited next July in theaters.

Is it just me or are they getting lazy with the textures in comparison to the star wars games, these textures are all just real life images, ditto for the Indy game too. Lego star wars was good, i just think these have a good chance of bombing. (Talk about trying to cash in on recent movie releases, Lego Rambo anyone?)

Lego Star Wars, Lego Indiana Jones, Lego Batman, now all the games are Legos.

Lego Star Wars was pretty good and very funny.

The environments in Star Wars are slick, smooth and very simple to make. The environments in Indiana Jones and Batman, not so much.

I don't think these games have a chance of bombing. I just hope the gameplay is good and fun, and the humor still works. I think this Batman one looks quite good so far.

Outside of a name, I don't see any reason to play these Lego games.

This is probably going to be the best Batman game ever made and that disappoints me as a Batman fan.

I hear it will support 1080p too, I would of LOVED these games 10 years ago.. I'll still buy them cheap or rent them. Hurray for GOOD lego games! they need a create a level mode though, maybe that'll come once they take notes of little big planet. Than I'd be interested regardless of age.

Nope, Batman for the NES is the best. And it probably will be even after this.

How about the fact that Lego Star Wars was infact a very good game? I guess you could argue that they're kind of milking it now, but as long as they can keep up the same quality, I have no problem.

I figure that Indianna Jones won't have the same character swapping mechanics as Star Wars did, but do we know how this is going to work? Judging by the screenshots it does look like you're playing as the Joker.

ditto, star wars was shallow in every respect. its one of those games that has this innitial overwhelming appeal thanks largely to the nostalgia factor of lego...but then it wears off almost instantly and your left with something even a child would be insulted by.

the graphics would have to be freaking photorealistic for this to be raised up above its current below average status. but going by these screens that clearly isnt the case. the characters dont even have propper shadows FFS.

i'll pass.

The more LEGO games, the better. LEGO Universe will be the best tho
