Microsoft's GDC keynote was just finished, and first out here is Fable 2. Stay tuned for much more.

As long as they fix the balance on the different skills....Archers were WAY overpowered, and melee combat could get a bit frustrating at times...
looks good, hopefully they will keep their sense of humor from the first game and stuff =)

Obviously the game is going to AT LEAST be as amazing Fable 1. No question. As for visuals, LMAO @ the people who called me out for saying those Hobbies looked bad in the last picture update. Looks like I was right. The Hobbes look even worse here, not to mention the ugly environments. Looks like Xbox 1 if you ask me. However, that one forest shot looks pretty nice. Other than that, the rest look poo to me. Hard to believe considering Fable 1 was one of the best-looking Xbox 1 games.
As for COOP... AWESOME.

The video made me a bit worried. Narrow paths again. I was kind of hoping for a world that wasn't composed of little paths this time, but rather a big world map to explore. This might just be a small section of course, but it still worries me a bit.

Those who think the game looks bad should go and watch the actual videos of this. Once again, looking at screencaps of a video obviously isn't going to do a game justice. If you still think it looks bad, then you need a slap across the head.

manged to find this fable 1 pic of bowerstone bridge for a fair comparison
i dunno what this bridge is in the fable 2 pic, but its better then comparing it to something random i suppose
(i used TXB pics cos they are smaller so wont take up as much room)
and consider this is fable 2s graphics, combined with ALLLL of these improvements and features AND the world will be twice as big...its shaping up well
i think this comparison proves btw that fable 2 dosnt look like a xbox 1 game to whoever was silly enough to say such a thing lol somewhere on this thread

I don't think that there is a single Xbox 360 exclusive that hasn't been through this process. Gears went through this, Mass Effect went through this, Halo went through this, so now it's Fable2's turn.
I'm already enjoying what I'm seeing and I'm looking forward to just how much of Peter Molyneux's vision was able to get stuffed in this time.

So much for freedom and all, but can we hope for a longer game then 10 hours then the previous one, granted there is a tiny bit more replay value but it's not high.

looks good, not keen on the speed of whiich you move...or maybe its an animation thing. i cant put my finger on it. its like their wading through water or something. also, i dont know how much freedom you have, but it doesnt look like the areas are as open as i'd like, seems to be pretty linear paths cut through forests etc like fable 1. what i really wanted was something between that and oblivion scaled environments. if it lives up to the hype (something the first didnt do by any stretch of the imagination) then it'll be a definite buy for me.
co-op seems aesome as well. if it isnt split-sceen tho i'll be pissed.

I love the art style. It.s like a Medevil cartoon, without so much toon.
MugiMugi-You went thru Fable in 10 hours. Man it took me over 40. Plus added to that I played as atleast 3 different characters.
For Fable 2 I will have atleast 5 different charcters, that I know of right now.

they raised my hopes so much for the first fable and didn't deliver, plus there are too many rpgs better out and coming out.. fable 2's time has passed
