Update: Looks like we managed to get a few seconds of gameplay out of the broken tape, so there you have it. Enjoy!
Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)

I am glad they didn't change the art, I would hate it if they did.
The reason is that I love these type of art wih crooked houses, Tim Burton feel, love it.
After I experienced Mass Effect of how that was, I was a bit dissapointed, but doesn't mean I don't like it. (Can't wait for the rest of 2 sequals)
But the RPG I want is Fable 2 now, it's on #2 on my most wanted 360 game while NG2 is on #1.
Commented on 2008-02-21 09:26:29I mean, it's way better looking than Ninja Gaiden 2, and some people are actually praising how that game looks.

Commented on 2008-02-21 18:36:56 In reply to JatoExcluding all the JRPG's I can only think of 1 western RPG coming out anytime soon and that's Fallout 3. I hate JRPG's with a passion so I'll gladly welcome any half-decent WRPG.
Not saying those games are bad, but they for sure have their faults, and these are considered AAA games. Not sure what kind of mentality it would take for someone to hate an entire genre enough that they would be willing to eat a 8-week old hamburger over a freshly baked pizza. Yeah, even most pizza haters would eat the latter.

Therefor your analogy is extremely odd and unjustified. I think a more appropriate one would be that "I'd rather eat half a delicious hamburger than a large pizza that makes me puke."
Anyway, you could've left out the insults and just answered my question. Either way, I think we've established that for non JRPG lovers, RPG's are rare on the 360 and therefor, any half-decent WRPG is more than welcome.
Commented on 2008-02-21 19:40:52 In reply to JatoI'm really not a fan of football games at all. I would never play the most amazingly perfect football game over a half-decent WRPG because I know I'll have more fun with the latter. If I'm not a fan of JRPGs at all, why would I ever choose to play one, even if it's absolutely fantastic, over a good game in a genre I enjoy?

I was like you when I first was introduced to JRPG's. My first JRPG I played was one of the phantasy star games, while had a good story, could not stomach the slow turn based and random battle crap. So I totally hated it. Didn't touch them for years till I got Grandia II as a present, and while it was semi-turn based it was actually really fun. That got me hooked and now I just simply pick out the good JRPGs from the sea of muck. I do enjoy WRPGs a lot too but sometimes they take themselves way too seriously and it's nice to mix it up. It's too bad you're missing out but to each his/her own.

Fable 1, although short and lacking in the features originally promised by Molyneaux, was still great fun to play. It had a character all its own and you became emotionally involved in the game, which is SO rare nowadays! A charming little number for sure. I for one cannot wait for this to come out.
This is in a different league to the mindless pap you mentioned.

Commented on 2008-02-23 07:47:58And since Fable 1 was one of the best games last gen despite its dissappointments, Fable 2 will just be amazing. But i wonder if you can cut down trees like whatshisname told us we could for Fable 1...
Commented on 2008-02-23 14:26:41 In reply to willdabeastLook, I've tried on several occasions. Like I said, a friend of mine only plays JRPG's and I've tried so many times to like them, trust me. But, I just can't stand them...it's as simple as that.
