$8 for a map pack seems pricey to me. Anyway, looks like an interesting level.

i'd buy this if it was called "cod 4 map pack" lol. i stopped playing halo about 3 weeks after it released and cod came out. does look ok tho. now they need another 10 to replace the crap ones that came with the game.

damn. i think it would be worth it was all the maps put together, 8 dollars for 3 maps is a bit much

And look at the end of the day don,t buy the maps if you think it costs to much just wait... the last 2.5 maps where brill for 800pts

The last map is supposed to go free when this one goes up. Looking forward to getting the last one for free.

Bungie announced a map during the release of the Heroic Map pach which wont be in this new one. So, there will be a third pack for sure.

And btw, the prices are not from Bungie or any other developer, guys >_> Microsoft decides how much you must pay for content available on the marketplace.

Still waiting for Heroic Map Pack to become free. Will probably wait another few months for this to become free.

I still play Halo regularly (2-3 times a week that is) but as the last mappack I won't buy this. First they have to prove to me that they can put out amazing maps like they did with Halo 1/2, then MAYBE I'll buy that overpriced mappack.

I wish they would make maps that are outside the Halo universe and just for fun

Where do you get that from? As far as I can tell, it's completely up to the developers/publishers how much they charge for the content. Just look at games like Oblivion, we know for a fact those prices were set by Bethesda, they even reduced it after the horse armour fiasco. And games like Test Drive still regularly give away free cars or even car packs.

But yeah, as much as I love Halo these packs are a little too expensive. How about some more single player content? Or at least some new armour sets to go with it?

Yeah you nailed it. Microsoft does set the pricing for MGS games though, that's for certain.

but on the flip side, epic wanted to give away everything for free in gears of war yet it was MICROSOFT who made them charge for it.
