Lost: Launch trailer

Ubisoft celebrates the worldwide launch of Lost: Via Domus - which, if we are to believe the american press and players, is a quite clunky game - releasing a full blown trailer, as it's the tradition to do when a game comes out. Lots of tearing in there.

Because it has been made with a very small budget it seems and it really shows, very poor game design, weak character models, only 6 of the real actors from the show doing voices and they're all minor characters (except Ben). Game takes around 5-6 hours to complete apparently and that's spent fighting very weak adventure game mechanics.
Here's an example of how weak the game design is.....
You arrive at the crashed plane, fuel is leaking from it and heading towards some sparks, you see an electronic display which you can use to turn off the fuel before it arrives at the sparks and causes an explosion, but you're not allowed to do it, you have to go talk to Jack who then tells you to turn off the fuel, then magically you are able to access the electronics, even though you already knew where they were and what you needed to do, weak..........

Grimbarian, sounds shitty... I'd still like to see someone review it though. I'm a Lost freak and I've been kind of frothing at the mouth for it, even though I know that its only an adventure game.

Yeah I'm a huge Lost fan myself, and to that end the game is enjoyable, but in a short, annoying way, and I'm only a short way in so it could get either get more enjoyable or more annoying......
