About the new cars though, it's a rather strange selection I have to say. Kudos to PD for the "tii" concept, didn't expect that one. But there's so many other bimmers that didn't make it for GT5P, they could've started with something that wasn't already in the game. The Tamora is a bit boring. Always thought it looked like a kit car. TVR has a way better selection than that.
Anyway, looking forward to more new cars for the US version. But come on PD, bring on some classic cult cars or something more exclusive than a bunch of mid-priced sports cars for the next update kthxbye.
Wow, looks very good, but most of the caps are from the photo modus. I wanna see some real ingame shots!

^^ That's ingame for "shure", and quality doesn't look any lesser than the rest...so you can rest assure, this CGI quality PS3 exclusivity is a reality !

But much like many others, I will [patiently and in pain] wait for the full game.
We have MGS4 and GTA4 to keep us occupied anyway :)

16xAA = photo-mode.
Yep, right. But I think I heard some sarcasm in the comment of Farooq ^^
some one have play the demo ?
looks the same
beste grafics on the consoles for sure !
I don't really wait this game. GT2 was awesome game back then but GT4 was major disappointment for me.
I hope they do update the Japanese version, I guess I should be hopeful because it does seem Sony favors the Japanese market anyways.
[edit : also there's no motion blur when racing at all, and I don't think there's even motion blur during replays, but I'd have to look again.]

what car is that in the fifth picture, its red and its nissan. is it a altima coupe?
I really wish they'd start releasing actual in-game shots. =(
If just gone through all the garage scenes, in-game replay of all the courses and freeze framed countless camera angles and cars, and can look you in the eye and tell you that every pic is in-game. I can't understand why you think this level of graphics is not possible, I was looking at it 5 min ago.
remember this is an updated version of the japanese game that was finished at liepzeg, so it's possible the PD have used full spe on cell to render the effects separate to the GPU.
anyway it's still the best race graphics on any system, and I can't wait.
