Gran Turismo 5: Prologue is almost there now, but Sony keeps releasing new and for the most part amazing looking screens just to keep us hyped. This one can't be released soon enough.
Why is everyone so impressed with this? I think it looks pretty average. Poor textures, jaggies everywhere, and a couple downright bad environments. Sure, the car models are great, but is it really worth sacrificing all of that other detail?

Not saying that i like this or that racer better by the looks of it....but if i look at picture 3 f.i. i see bad textures and jaggies all over....the background in picture 5 looks mediocre with the same tree in different size all over the place...picture 10 what's up with the poor floor texture and picture 11 with the square flowerbeds in the back/right....

screen 3 needs more trees on the hill, and someone needs to tune the colour control down in all the shots.
I can't wait to thrash the Aston and Ford GT around london. anyone know if there using 7.1, so I can hear the sounds echoed around me.
