Yep, this looks cool to me. The car model is, as usual, very very good. btw, did they work a bit on the lights/shadows? Looks even better as on previous pics...
sigh.
Still, I will be cool to race around in the F2007. I would just rather have the McLaren Mercedes. ;)
Nice race this weekend in Australia, btw. 7 cars finished out of 22. Seems the new restrictions and rules are making it abit hard on some of the teams. Not a single ferrari engine made it though the finishing line. Crazy. Bodes well for the new season, indeed.
amazing shots. seriously. But then it doesn't take much to see that these are bullshots to the max. Just compare to the latest batch of screenies Sony gave us. These are miles better looking.
sigh.

And these screenshots are no bullshots, they're taken of the replay or fotomodus!! Of course, during the gameplay it doesn't look like that ^^
Anyway im still not very impressed by the model, it lacks texture detail and the lightning is wrong which makes the car look to plastic.
There are F1 games and mods for PC which have more realistic looking F1 models then thisone.
oh, about the cars looking plastic...dont know if you've ever seen the up close...but they look plastic, the body is made of carbon-fibre, shiny carbon-fibre
The car is looking way better and more realistic then in F1 One Championship Edition, but the environments are far less detailed and F1 CE also had way more stunning effects.

When did you play F1 CE for the last time?

Must be kidding...
When did you play F1 CE for the last time?
Sorry some of you are to focused on this replay bullshots, the real ingame looks unimpressive, with zero blur effects, it also has non of the awesome sun or weather effects as F1 CE and the HDR in ingeme is not as impressive as in the replay mode.
When you actually play GT5p the environments look very empty and flat compared to F1 CE.
I know that Gt5p runs at the twice framerate of F1 CE and thats also the reason for it's emptynes, but looks like that some people cant admit it or deal with it.
Polyphony is known for their awesome and most impressive car models but it's also know for the lack of track detail, environments in GT games are not impressive and more empty then most of other racing games since their first game.

And I saw vids of ingame from GT5, and it looks very good!
And that blur effect: I really can abstain from it. I hate it when the developpers just add blureffects en masse to get an impression of speed, and to hide the bad texture build up. The less of those effcts, the more I love it. But that's a thing of taste, I guess ^^
grrr, i know this is off topic, but i really hate how the FIA has been limiting the technology in F1...halting engine dev. for three years, mechanical rev limits /sigh. though nothing beats the thrill of hearing those v8 engines turn at 20k rpm...breathtaking
btw: The best they've done is removed TC. It's so much harder to get a car properly accelerating through corners without it, now the F1 is interesting again and the cars don't seem to run on rails anymore.
I think it was a good step. Once the drivers become used to it it'll get more interesting. Seems like in the last race the ones with more patience and driving with more caution were winning. Others pushed their luck too hard and since it's all new it caused that many brakedowns and accidents.

Looks absolutely brilliant. Best incar view of a formula 1 racer ever? I think so.
