Announced a couple of days ago, Salvation (PC, X360) reappears with these new images. Thinking about it, the big hammer is really similar to the one seen in Project H.A.M.M.E.R., this Nintendo Wii game that has been silenced for no known reason.

So is this a HL2 mod or something? Because it has the HL2 crosshair and has the exact same car model from most HL2 + HL2 Mods maps. Not looking up to par.
Rather lazy if you ask me to include alot of premade buildings and textures that you'd see in another game.

Yeah it's Source engine.
The game doesn't look that good, and When I first saw these pictures I was ready to forget all about it... until Kotaku reported on it.
Now it seems I have to check it out for it's plot, and world settings alone.

Looks like a bad source engine mod. The story line is laughably hilarious (reminds me of a bad NES game plot). I don't see anything of merit about this one yet...

It does seem to me like a simple HL2 mod.. Sure Source still does look good (TF2 and Episode2) being good examples but theres no signs here that they have even tried to make it different to looking like HL2 at all =/

Typical. People are bashing the graphics of a game, that is nowhere near finished. You should begin to understand, that graphics get their polish only few months before the game is being published. Until that, it's all placeholder that improves gradually. Graphicwhores.

It doesn't look all that impressive, but somehow it has gotten my attention. I'll keep an eye on this one, just not with all that high expectations.

Looks ok, buildings look dull but as long as the gameplay is good, none of this really matters, the graphics arent great, not even good(mediocre), but enough to get by.

It's nice to see a game not produced by the big guns and I reckon this has got potential. There's definitely a whiff of 2000AD about this, which could be good. Nemesis the Warlock vs Torquemada, now THERE would be a good license to draw on (although the Nemesis The Warlock game on the ZX Spectrum was crap...REALLY crap...)
