I would imagine this game is almost finished, hopefully we will see a JP release at the end of the year.
Yes i cry... but all for the wrong reasons.
('th' is pronounced as 'S' in Japanese language. When they translated the game in English, they named her Aeris so that the rest of the world can pronounce her name the right way.) Her original name is 'Earith' Gainsborough, wich is the rough equivalent of Aerith. If you rearrange both of her names (Aerith/Earith) you will get 'I Earth'. So the people who played FF7 know what this refers to. X)
And no lets hope they dont, its cliche.
^^*Sues you*
I’m looking forward to this one. It looks good and I’m curious about the real time combat system without combat screen. Though I disliked FFXII for the same reason I think a more action based approach like StarOcean might suit something like that better.
*sues you for been racist*
This game is going to have emotional stuff in it. Wich is a very very good thing.
^^ wow i spelt her name wrong ....sue me.

OT: What ever happened to Last Remnants?
is this one of those tradition jrpg's or is it more kingdom hearts typ gameplay
Not kingdom hearts. Expect real-time, but actually good and not bad like it was done in ff12 :)
I actually liked the FFXII gameplay.
