I often found the pacing in past MGS to be interupted by overly long cut-scenes!
And yes, there's a clear difference between pic 1 and 12. Therefore pic 1 is NOT ingame!
waiting to pre-order my special edition copy, those pics look very low res btw.
It looks very good, and I'm quite shure I'll get it.
The chicken thing is quite disturbing *lol*
Ownage aside, I gotta say I'm always on the verge of creaming myself when new MGS4 footage drops. I absolutely HATE this word, but if there's one game deserving of it, it's MGS4. The word is epic. Done pre-ordered my copy and just waiting for the Beta disc now.
Hm, some screens look superb, some others look decent... wtf?

The tank looks awesome, I really love how this game seems to capture the feeling of a warzone.
Day - 1 purchase.
I believe that this middle Eastern based stage is going to be similar to MGS2's tanker level in that it plays little to no significance in the grand scale of things. Once it ends I reckon that game will start proper with the younger Snake we are familiar with coming under the players control.

And in my opinion, the game still looks very bland, it doesn't excite me in the same way the other games have, and it doesn't help that we're continuing on from the over the top melodrama of the second game. It's surprising just how more ridiculous they've managed to make the story..
But still, I'll likely get it, just so I can finally see how this ends.
No, i will wait to purchase a PS3 until i see some games with better gfx. Im a real gfx nerd.
WTF?
CoD4 on PS3 looks much better
It looks really not good.

The game in motion... I spected new animations but It seems I see the same animations I saw in MGS2 or 3... Snake animations and soldiers animations... Not speaking about cutscenes, where animations are impresive (great Motion capture)
I'm in love with this game.
Overall it looks ok but it won’t blow me away. Anyway MGS is about the story and storytelling.
