thats all i wanted to know. they've shown screens showing some crazy stat screen of all the parts of the enemy with % and HP and other random crap on it that is just far too in-depth for my taste. all i want from the game is oblivion with guns. and if i can just shoot guys in the face as i do in something like COD4 but in a world thats as huge as oblivion then im happy. if the RPG system is forced onto you and you have to play the game like KOTOR where its not quite real time, then no thanks. i'll pass.
Alright, time to release some actual gameplay a la Oblivion videos! I mean seriously all we have seen is few pics that look the same and a small trailer...
Well then it's more mod than anything else. I like Oblivion really much but thats not what I want or any Fallout fan want from this game. I think Oblivion has quite horrible fighting/shooting anyway... I am glad that there is that targeting mode. I am sure you don't have to use targeting... just like in the old games. I also heard that they throw away that match enemies for your level system :) To talk about levels... Oblivion had horrible leveling system but that was in earlier game too. That system isn't needed in Fallout either. At least PC version can be modded for much better :)
I remember from Fallout2 that there was one boxing place and I cheated a little. I think i put horseshoe in my boxing gloves and punched the dude to balls :p needles to say that one critical hit was enough... in fact it was too much and the other dude died. Non the less I got the prize :D that kind of things made the games so great. Lot's of fun scenes (exploding toilet :p) and things in those games :) hmm I need to play this again before the third game. Too bad there was so much bugs :/ non the less one of the best RPG series.
Fallout 3 is definitely looking really great and promising game.

Thats all i see when i look at this, grey and brown. I dont see the cool shaders, or the atmosphere, or the awesome enviroment models in the third shot.
I just see grey and brown dirt :(

It looks awesome, but its so boring with the same old brown/ruined/dark/dirty/UGLY stuff in games. I guess the opposite would be Mass Effect, everything is clean there. Clean colors, clean textures clean metallic walls.

theres word going round that this game got 500 endings, if so thats crazy, in a good way..
but yes this game coming along nicely. hope they dont rush this, this is one game i would wait for.

So you want a post apocalyptic earth to be filled with clean metallic walls? Come on, THAT would be retarded. I don't understand all this whining. "omg the game is just brown, and it has bloom to...it must suck ass". If you skip a great game because of the palette the devs chose, well...that's your loss, buddy. I mean, if you were do design a scene clearly portraying earth after the apocalypse, how would you do it?

I certainly think so.. it may not be exactly what Fallout fans want, but that won't stop it from being more than "Oblivion with guns." The game is in good company with Bethesda. The most recent previews sound incredible.
