I don't even bother looking at the screenshots.
It'd only give me the false impression that the game looks visually poor. This simply isn't true, as the trailer indicates.

One thing I noticed in both the new trailers (there are two) is the framerate seems very smooth, 30fps constant now. The trailers looked amazing to me.
Still I still find I can't really separate the reality of the trailers and my experience and knowledge of GTA worlds from the screenshots. I could see how some might say the screens look bad, but with any context in your mind they look amazing.

Whoever says the graphics suck has no idea what they're talking about. ITS A SANDBOX GAME ! The amount of resources needed to run everything in the background sacrifices some of the graphics fidelity. Even then this game looks PHENOMENAL ! The lighting engine particularly is absolutely breathtaking.

Please don't say people are retards because they expect a certain quality of graphics. Of course they won't be like those from a Fight Night game, because the game engine is overloaded with stuff. My problem is, the quality seems to differ a lot from screen to screen. By example, I find that screen 3 looks really good. On the other hand, screen 12 with the jogger isn't really good, it looks like a painting with not a lot of details. I know where the game will shine is through dialogues, missions and randomness. I just feel some pics are not doing a great job of pimping its visual side.

i agree with the fact there should be more split screen games, but im never going to expect it from a game like GTA. i mean, have you played rainbow six vegas in split screen, the game looks terrible. i cant imagine the drop in quality if GTA was to do it.

wow, 2 weeks already? it feels like just yesterday that it was a month away. time is flying by so fast. which is good cause i want this damn game.
and those park pics are amazing. not that they look that great, but the attention to detail is fantastic. im gonna have a lot of fun disturbing that little exercise session.

GOddamnit people, why do you keep falling for this? Its obvious that the enlarged shots all look like shit compared to it's original size. GO to Rockstars site and check how the screens look WITHOUT enlarging them. That's what the game is gonna look like...it looks exactly like the trailers...
