Rockstar has been starting the huge ad campaign for Grand Theft Auto IV on tv and through ads on buildings in some of the major cities. This 60 seconds ad shows a big amount of locations from the game.

Awesome stuff. Looks like this is a Microsoft exclusive ad considering it appears on the XBox.com website as well, they are serious about selling this game on their system.

I think alot of people still think, GTA is Playstation only, I'm hoping that these ads kick home about it being on the 360, and like you said, exclusive content, and if I know them it will be massive

lol, just signed up, did try AGES ago, but couldn't been using this great site ever since^^, but yeah awsome ad, and makes me want the game abit more although no matter how hard i try I just can't persoanlly get caught up with the hype, probably a good thing, I'll be surprised and wow'd even more when I play it, graphically though, its incredible given the scope of the game and all the minute details.

But i seriously think this will sell more on 360 than on PS3, based on 3 factors..
1. More people Today own a 360, than a PS3.
2. The price of the top-of-the-line 360 is still much cheaper than the PS3, and the PS3 has no obvious advantages besides bluray.
3. When someone that doesnt have a console yet, goes into a store and plans to get GTA4, why in the world would they choose to pay so much more for a PS3 (without notably better graphics, framerate or features) when the 360 version of the game is utterly identical, has the obviously better online gaming service AND will get exclusive downloadable content?
People arent stupid enough to just think "oh, GTA, thats on PS3 right?".
They have eyes you know, when they walk into the store they WILL see that its on the 360 too, and then they will check the screenies and trailers, and play the 360 in the actual store. And see that there is NO difference between the two.
Then they will see the price of the PS3 compared to the 360.
Guess what they will pick.
Its very simple :)
A 360 + GTA4 + 1 year xblive gold + an extra controller or even another game too for roughly the same price as a PS3..
Or.
A PS3 + GTA4....
