Developer Metropolis works on a mysterious first-person shooter called They for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. Personally, I can't wait for other minimalist videogame names. I'm eagerly awaiting the likes of "I", "You", "He", you know the drill. Back on this title, it seems to have a good story according to the team. Plus, it will be possible to pimp your weapons or, if you prefer, tune them up. Hit the jump for some glorious 1080p stills.

The whole twist to this game was the fact the robot thingys are been controlled by aliens which they say you find out about half way through the game
I still rem reading that and think "you fucking tits" i mean really talk about screwing your own twist, bad enough when retards on the net do it, let alone the dev ...

Graphics are pretty good, especially if they're 1080p. But if anyone's watched the trailer, he'd know that the quality of the presentation and story premise is quite poor, and nonexistent. I wish more games nowadays would put a big, big emphasis on quality storytelling and direction/presentation. Another game that is disappointing me in that regard, based on the trailers, is the Alone in the Dark.

The contrast in these pictures makes it looks a bit cool, but hearing what you guys say about the story and the the pure technical aspect of the picturs jsut make me go "ugh..."

i remember seeing a video for this game on gamertv, it's pretty cool
robots then after they are taken over by aliens the whole gameplay changes as they act differently and stuff
they said the game will only come out in 2009 though

Anyway this game looks great, especially for 1080p. I downed it to 720 so I didn't have to scroll across the pictures and it looks great, and super smooth, which is nice. And the weapon customization looks pretty cool.

I feel the pics are retouched too much, the contrast is a little too high. and...lots of colorful monsters and weapons in a dull stage? if the color scheme is as plain as GOW, it will be better, or maybe all colorful. The title is really cool, hope it will be great :P
btw, this reminds me of Hellgate London.

I watch a demo of this last year and it seems to have some potential. Making 5 minutes of gameplay look good is one thing... making 6-10 hours good is another.

Either way, the vast majority of 1080p games seem to take a hit graphically so I'd rather they nailed it down to 720p.
