Bethesda sent three new images of its ambitious Fallout 3 for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. Before, they could only be seen in paper magazines or from a handful of lucky websites. Man, Autumn can't get here soon enough!

I agree that is pushing to the extreme. I know people who will do it though. Hell Im a completest but I don't think I could play a game that much just for small tweaks.
That's all I can guess that it would be is small tweaks. I doubt they are writting big differances for 500 endings. But heck I dont know.

because im a FPS fan...not hard to fathom...lol.
I'm pretty hardcore about my FPS fandom, and I would hate to see this game turned into just another shooter. We need variety in gaming too, ya know. Or would you rather that we just had more of the same...lol.

I think it's a good thing. It reminds me of the good old non linear days and the freedom of choice in rpgs that has been dead for a very long time. We need games with more depth to them. Plus, if you really don't want to sit through 300-500 endings, there is always youtube.

You're aware that watching 300-500 endings on YouTube could take like, hours, depending on the endings/cutscenes implied? I'd rather play another game or do something more important. Great for hardcore gamers I guess (and I thought I was...)

Depends on what you like and what you look at. Oblivion is huge and has loads of sidequests but the main quest is short and rather lame. Also the leveling system is sucky as hell and the storyline isn't very engaging. Also the environments in oblivion get real old real fast. It's a good game all in all but it's not miraculous.

Mass effect is also like one hojillion times better than oblivion at relating story and emotion. The conversation system is also kickass. So oblivion and ME aimed for different things and both achieved what they set out to do.
yes ME has a good story, and honestly thats one of the only things going for it. ME side mission are a JOKE, all the side planets have the same template. an anamoly, 2 materials, a crashed probe, and a bunker full of people to kill. ever planet is the SAME! as least in Oblivion they werent lazy, they actually made an effort to make the side mission just has big as the story. people were bitching about the combat in Oblivion. ME's combat was by far the worst implementation of a cover system thus far ina nextgen game. as for creatures lvling with you, the people who whine about are just a bunch of whiners who cant get past the fact that there are no easy enemies. and you think the Leveling system is sucky?? lol. would you have preferred the generic numbered leveling up system?? grow up. PLUS, if you just played the main quest in Mass Effect and Oblivion and no side quests, Oblivion is still LONGER the ME. so all ME has going for it is its story end of story..

im not even going to take this guy seriously... Lost Odyssey better than ME and oblivion, at least i give ME more credit than that. LO sucks, people who deny that are just a bunch of 360 fanboys who wish they had a good JRPG on their system.
