You guessed it, the famous board game Monopoly will make its comeback in the videogaming scene. The ressurection of this franchise is made possible thanks to the casual gaming division at Electronic Arts, and will be available on the PS2, Xbox 360 and Wii platforms. Up to four players will be able to try and conquer the various boards.

I could see getting this for XBLA at a reasonable price, but the press releases sound as if it will be a full retail game. I don't think I'm interested enough for that.

no matter what i say no. Monopoly is great fun for three to four people but i just can't see it working as a video game. Half the fun is extorting your rivals and bartering with the properties.
Also, i couldn't possibly combine the different player pieces for extra awesomeness in a digital version. Like a wheel barrow with a dog in it.

What's with the screenshot? Do they not use the street names? Cyan 1 Cyan 2 Cyan 3? Either way ugly graphics and I expect it to be on XBLA or if they go retail it should be at a budget price no higher then $20.00
