Looks really really cool, awaiting some gameplay footage though (yeah there's been some but I'm pretty keen to see more)

The third screenie, whats up with the grass appearing and dissapearing with sharp edges in the middle of the field? But generally, i dunno. Looks kinda clinical, technically nice, but sorta boring in a way. Just the gfx, no idea about the gameplay

This game seems to of been in the making since like 2001. But its looking good. Just wish Gearbox would create their own engine and dump Unreal.

looking forward to this game. Brothers in arms always play completely different from the usual gun and blast. You actually have to plot and plan your routes, its more about management than anything.

looks really pretty this too.. i just hope they've got the framerate up to scratch now.

Blarg. The game is now looking not even a fraction as good as what they were showing off in the past. Coupled with the fact that I didn't like the previous BiH titles and I still don't like Gearbox, this is looking like a complete pass for me.

Graphicswhoring is passe. Has always been. Gameplay and gameworld details are what count. So before judgement, everyone should give every game the benefit of a doubt.

And I'm not telling it's bad, or it looks bad, but... oh-please-stop-the-bullshit. I'm fscking tired of videos showing high quality footage, and when the release date approaches the comparison between old and new trailers and shots is JUST RIDICULOUS!.

Raszeck: what are you talking about, just because of these pics... the original videos from BiA:HH were all ingame footage hell theyve had ingame footage available for over a year, they keep fine tuning the game and from the last gameplay video its just getting better.

The particle effects are exceptional, nice. But honestly this doesn't look as good as they showed in some presentations before, kinda disappointing and propably from the PC version with everything maxed out.

What? I said I HOPE Gearbox doesn't butcher the Aliens game, not that Gearbox WOULD butcher it. I haven't played a single Gearbox game I liked, I have no confidence in their game making skills. That's all there is to it.

Why should everyone give every game the benefit of the doubt? I didn't like BiH, and this one looks bad. It's almost certain I won't like it. I'll try a demo if they put one up, because that's free.

The game looks really bad, I don't obsess about graphics (I didn't build a PC to play Crysis for example), but if a game's graphics make me feel ill because they're so bad, that's not good either. Along those lines if they made this game look like a GOOD SNES game, I might actually like the way it looks better. This is just ugly.

If you've never liked a BiA game why would you even bother coming in a thread about one of it's sequels? If you've never liked a Gearbox game why are you posting in a topic about them?

I've never played a BiA game before. Can anyone explain the gameplay of the series to me and what separates it from other war based shooters?

The game looks horrible. I'm commenting because it's allowed. If the game looked like it used to in the early videos and screens I'd actually be interested still.The way they blend strategy gameplay into action gameplay. It's like Gears but even less run and gun. You fight Rambo-style and don't flank, you WILL die, it doesn't matter how good you are at action games. The first one basically always FORCES you to flank, you can't even kill enemies if you go head on. It's rather lame gameplay, but I guess if you're really bad at shooting games it might let you have more fun that a skill-based shooter.

It sounds like you were just terrible at the game. Flanking always works out best, given it keeps your team, and yourself in in the least amount of danger. However, there have been countless times when I rushed the enemy and came out without a scratch.

How can you honestly say this game looks horrible? That just sounds like pointless, and unfouded bashing. Did you think Gears of War looked horrible? Call of Duty 4? Because I can guarantee the graphics will be on par, if not better than either. The graphics, and gameplay look everybit as good as they ever did. Just because of this pics, yeah. Please, just compare these screens with the previous ones, that's all I ask for. Yeah.... ingame footage, like..... hmmmm... let me think... Killzone 2, oh, yeah, that was ingame too, realtime in-engine in-game, it was all that, and once again, compare it with the last screens.

I'll repeat myself, I'm not saying the game looks horrible, I'm a fan of BiA and will buy this one aswell, but not seeing the HUGE LOSS of quality from the first videos and screenshot to these screenies is not possible [period]
