OMG the torture! I can't wait!

Some are new, and some are from when the game was first previewed in EGM. Some of these screens are pretty ugly too. :| I wonder if they made any changes to that forest stage in the final version.

I guess you may already have heard this, but the official website lists it "sometime in May".

I think i just wet myself... You know i thought last year i bought alot of games, forza, oj box, AC, halo3, mass effect, nhl 08.... and a few others
This year, NG2, Fable 2, too human, geow2, wooaahahhh and thats just 360.

New NG2 content has been confirmed for the 20th. Demo supposedly comes mid-May, and any later than that is hardly mid-May.

Looks pretty good. That purple ball effect looks insane.

It's just not doing it for me. It does look like they've removed the platforming and it's just a brawler now. Maybe the demo will change my mind, but I'm completely meh on this one. I still think the graphics look below average. I think I understand why as well, the artists seem to be taking a 'last gen, but higher quality assets' perspective. Both the dynamic and static lighting look flat, the enemy designs are also pretty poor, and the modeling is pretty poor in parts. Finally these shots have impossible AA in them as well...

Er.... 2007 was one of the best years in gaming in a very long time. Just for starters, Gears of War, Halo 3, Mass Effect, Call of Duty 4, Super Mario Galaxy, Assassin's Creed, Crysis and even the freakin' Playstation 3 in Europe was released in 2007.

If anything, I'm worried about 2008 not living up to the amazing releases last year.

The wait for NG2 is killing me... looks great as always ^^

GoW was a 2006 release, AC is nothing to write home about. 2007 had a strong lineup, but I didn't buy into every game that's been praised, half of them were FPS anyway.

This year however I have a very hard time resisting. There is a wider range of diffrent games available this time around. LO was quite amazing, GTA was the biggest release in the history of e-entertainment, there are still games like NG 2, Fable 2, GoW 2, 2 more Rare games and Alan Wake to come. PS 3 is getting some long awaited exclusives, too. I think that '08 is actually better.

if none of these games get delayed that is...and somehow i see them all being pushed back. Thats just how it always goes...the good games always get delayed.

Edge Magazine is bracing its readers for one of the biggest disappointments of the years with this game. They've given it a thorough playtest and have stressed that the camera is absolutely horrible throughout!

There may be time to fix it but they are not hopeful.

If Too Human can do it, there's hope for everything.

The camera doesn't look to be that much improved from the first game, but it never bothered me in the first place. I've actually had more problems with the fixed camera in DMC4 than in NG. EDGE just needs to learn how to readjust the camera with the right trigger...
