Only a month left before trying Metal Gear Solid 4. To better cope with the wait, we are offering you these new images in high definition, some of them taken from a japanese event.
The images contain some spoilers
Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)

Commented on 2008-05-22 16:56:50 In reply to JollipopMehh, @ Ezekiel_Xz: I agree with you, they both can do the exact same thing, sometimes there are slight differences. But for me it's just that I hate that MS brings out 100 different types of 360's, I've got the noisy old one without HDMI. I'm bothered, now if it breaks again, I should be able to bring it to them and get a new HDMI enabled one.
This is the reason why I got me a PS3: silent, same graphics, awwwwsome games, not as heat-producing (as a '1st-gen' 360)

Commented on 2008-05-22 17:16:49In my personal exeprience there just isnt enough games for the ps3 yet, not enough must own titles. So I tend to play on my 360 more, this week lined up I have lost oddysey, eternal sonata and mass effect. For the ps3 I really have nothing to do until MGS4, especially since Haze has fallen flat on its arse.
For me the ps3 is a good machine, a little expensive but a well built machine with good funtionality. But the games are just not coming fast enough, lets hope for more must own titles like MGS4.

Commented on 2008-05-22 18:46:53as for those questioning the amount of gameplay. its ~30 hours long, 1 third of which is cut-scenes. so theres still 15-20 hours of gameplay in there. more then most. the more i see the more i cant wait.

Basically he said "no" to bringing this game to other platforms. He didn't say why, and he didn't need to say why. All he said was an elaborate "no."

Commented on 2008-05-22 20:30:03 In reply to SathI heard there is a filter option in the game were you can choose to have blur or have it sharp (like the images)
But if these images are with the filters off then that is what I am going for, looks so much better, like a new upgraded engine for the game.

Commented on 2008-05-23 08:36:05 In reply to NeoNemesisThere's a difference. Bioshock was originally planned to be released for PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3, but it later became a Microsoft exclusive. MGS4 has only been developed for PS3 and Kojima would want it to be played to the fullest extent and that is on the PS3.

What matters in the end is money. If MGS4 stays on the PS3 only, its because Sony paid a lot of money for that. Not because of Kojima's artistic preferences. If they didn't pay... well, then it all depends on the sales figures here. If its not selling as much as they would like to, who knows?
Commented on 2008-05-23 17:58:27I am sure it could be done on the 360... just not on the DVD.
They have space for extra that's all I am saying, and that's why 360 couldn't pull of longevity and graphics.
And the only reason 360 version of GTA is better is becuase the machine is much easier to develop for, and developing them simultaneously, as many developers do, doesn't work for PS3 as well, because it's streamlined differently.
And I prefer the look of the PS3 version, even thoguh on paper it's worse... in flesh it's much nicer. Besides the point, GTA would have been longer and seemed less stunted if there was more space.
Read the interviews with Sam Houser, and you can see what he thinks.
I don't think the length of this game and the garphcis could be on a 360, that was what I was trying to say... ofcourse the 360 could rpoduce these graphics...
It's just scary there are still people rushing to defend it the console.
