I calmed down a little bit since the last time I covered Silent Hill: Homecoming. It's important to let a game have its chance before passing judgement. Konami sends some new images that are still missing the good old filter from other entries in the series, but are still much better than before (that doesn't mean much, actually). The focus on Chris' face is well done.

I have read a huge 5-page preview in the actual Man!ac (german game-mag) and personally I cannot wait - looks like they are doing a fantastic job ... don't forget it's made by Double-Helix (formerly known as "The Collective", the Buffy team from part 1 one on Xbox) and directed by Konami, so it might be a really good SH again (let's just forget The Room) ... hope they get those newly added QTE's right ...
... the movements of those nasty nurses looks ace (although it reminds me a bit of the Buffy model they used in the first Xbox game)

I've always been a Silent Hill fan but I'm so afraid this'll end up like the fourth installment again. I couldn't stand going through that game more than once, I went as far as cheated just to see the alternate endings.

Still a bit sceptic. After having seen Alone in the Dark in motion, the SH vids weren't very impressiv. Only the vid where the first nurse arrives, out of the toilet, that was great.

Man, I don't like the damn close on his face... it seems as if SH4 character model was in high Resolution, it would look better than this one. Hair looks crappy too.
I love Silent Hill too much... I can't afford to have high expectations, it would kill me to be disappointed... so i just think that this will be crappy... maybe this way I'm not that disappointed when it comes out.

I have it to PSP and I think its a really good game...not better than SH2, but good ;)
I also think SH5 will be good...the time will tell us that...just have to wait to see...

Some environments look really flat and have horrendous textures...
To save the day, the pieces of furniture and characters have better details (but are still not so great)
They better get things homogenous (or show that their post effects cover all the flaws).
I liked SH1 and 2, didn't like 3 and 4, so i don't really know what to expect. We ll see.
