Our prayers have been answered, and Beyond Good & Evil 2 has been announced. The trailer is uploading, but here are some images first.
Update: Teaser trailer is up. CG of course.
Update 2: The teaser is supposed to be done with the game's engine. Incredible if true.

maybe its not what the game really will look like, but the images come from the trailer, and its evident from the images that it isnt CG...ill take it as a tech demo

Those look like they could be in-game assets (at least as far as models and textures). Image quality is way over the top, but I'd love to see some SSS. Just the artwork is really great IMO.

Never finished the first. Had a file on my PS2 MC and then started a new one on my PS3...now seems like a good time to try and finish that (before MGS4).

blmbox Yeah, but judging by the content of both reviews, Eurogamer didn't particularly care much for the game anyway. They probably only gave it an 8 to avoid controversy - the review sounded more like a 6. (8 minutes ago)
GriftGFX 6 to 8 split on Eurogamer, which isn't quite as large but still pretty significant. (1 Hour ago)
SimonM7 Yeah sure, but from what console reviews are saying it's perfectly adequate. I mean I'm sure PC is the way to go, but I sincerely doubt we're seeing a 5 to 9 split score wise or anything. (1 Hour ago)
GriftGFX not that the Xbox version is "that bad" by most accounts either.. there are plenty of people here playing it who adore it.. but the PC game is recieving higher marks across the board (1 Hour ago)
GriftGFX @SimonM7: I doubt that's true too, if other reviews I've read are any indication. The game was designed around an interface that's not represented on the Xbox.. (1 Hour ago)
SimonM7 I doubt PC and 360 scores would differ much in EDGE, they simply don't fancy it. DA on the 360 is fine as long as you like the underlying game. (2 Hours ago)
callmekymbo is DA on the 360 really that bad? I can't run it on my pc so the eggbox is my only viable alternative (2 Hours ago)
