Here are some new images with varying resolution of the multiplayer mode from the tactical videogame Gears of War 2 scheduled for November 2008. Some of the heroes look like characters from Too Human. The atmosphere seems to be in place.
Update: These images were scans and have been removed.

Cant wait to get my hands on this one. I loved the first Gears of War, so I know this one won't dissappoint me.

Okay, I was a little hasty. I think it'll be between this and Fallout 3 for me personally.

And LOTR: Conquest, if it actually delivers on what it's promising to do!

i agree, while the first game was pretty much the godliest looking game for quite a long time. i feel other games have used the engine a lot better. its by no means bad looking, its just not as eye popping as it once was (which i expected from the sequel), a lot of games look a lot better now.

gameplay wise, thats a whole different story, personally i dont like it, far too clunky. but i can see why people did/do like it. i'll play it at least just to see if the story is as good as they claim. cant see myself buyig it tho.

1) Those are not direct feed images (from mags)

2) these are from multiplayer

3) every gameing site that has seen this demo in action has stated that it looks better than GOW1 and GOW1 is an amazing looking game even now.

4) at this stage its only 65% complete and we all know effects and shine will be added in latter stages of dev.

This will def be my GOTY this year, i can feel it. From all the amazing additions to multiplayer and the stuff we know so far from single player, and cliffy stating theres so much more to come, i truely cant wait!

Gears 1's player models were only good in cutscenes, the detail goes WAY down during gameplay. Not only that, but TONS of games have better models! What really brings down the game's graphics I think is the lighting. Makes everything look more flat than it could look.

WOW that statement is so worng i dont know were to start, just read the GOW1 reviews, and pay attention to the graphics sections, unless of course your saying that there all wrong and your right?, i have no problem with you not liking the models or art of GOW but your statement above sounds like you are stating a graphical FACT about the game and you could not be more wrong..

one thing i have against Gears is the steroid loooking characters. its from the body to the armour. its so exageratted its not even funny.

I hear that, but me personaly i have no problem with it, i find it refreshing infact as most other games have the pretty boy action hero's, gears comes along and says F.... You and slams a ugly scarred up musclebound freak in front of you who says love me or hate me i'm your fracking action hero now bitch!! :)

I recently played the original GOW and I'm honestly shocked that the game gets so much recognition! It was way too repetitive.
