Must say 360 is really dominating JRPG's this gen. Most likley this is just a timed exclusive but none the less it's a real statement of intent from MS.
Shame othing from Mistwalker was shown at this event though. I was hoping to see more from Cry On.

Nice, but the lack of a Playstation 3 announcement shouldn't be surprising; this was after all a MICROSOFT event (just like the Mirror's Edge showing at the Sony event a while ago, that didn't mention a 360 version). Just wait a while and we'll get a PS3 announcement in a little bit.

Having to switch discs inbetween chapters, seems better than having to wait while the game has to install at those chapters.. The MGS dig at that was ridiculous, switching discs isn't THAT much of a problem, I'd much rather be able to continue playing the game quickly rather than sit through more installs.

And no, from what we've seen thus far, the reduced load times from the installations have been negligable.

how do you know there will be loading times between battles and locations on the 360. But it will be on more that one disc on the 360 thats for sure.In the case of Lost Plante on the PS3 there was no benefits at all.

Id take the load times(although even with the installs many PS3 titles are just on par with 360 in terms of loading) over being able to play all my games. You see, as a 20G PS3 owner my HDD is full with installs that are mandatory. So that means to play another game, I have to delete a game, then to play the old game again, I have to reinstall the file thus the 20min file becomes a lot more of a hastle.

In anycase, who cares. The game is announced as coming to 360 first, no PS3 announcement yet so lets just live with that.

So no, it`s NOT exclusive.THIS is SQUARE, they KNOW how to WORK with PS3. =)
