My favourite moments - Rex vs Ray, Snake crawling through the microwave corridor while Ray attacked Mei Lings's ship, Raiden vs Vamp, Snake vs Liquid atop the Outer Haven's deck, Meryl and Akiba kissing then fighting together, and Rex running through Shadow Moses.

My fav moment was the Mr and Mrs Smith part :P

That's true, its renders at 1024x768, but since it's an anamorphic it keeps the full vertical resolution so it's not too bad.

Maybe you should actually play the damn thing before commenting the graphics on game forums ? It should tell you something that everybody who has played the game praise the visuals.

And nobody's said it's the best looking game ever, it just looks very - very good, because the art is good, the tech is good and the athmosphere is great - something you don't really get off screenshots right ?

Yeah, there are no visible jaggies at all so it doesn't really matter. Nice the 4th video is up. Most epic bossfight ever!

The graphics are amazing! No visible jaggies in both gameplay and cut scenes. I think the people who are complaining don't have a PS3 or haven't played it and only seen videos! Looks amazing on my 52" 1080p (Yer upscaled but who cares!)

Atmosphere is amazing and I love the split screen action near the end! Crawling through the microwave with the video playing on top was wicked! In fact there are to many best moments to list!

In the fight with Psycho Mantis did anyone else chance the controller to port 2? LOL I did was pretty funny!

Hmn.......well, the 720P video from Ninja Gaiden 2 back then looked EXACTLY like the game does, are you going to tell me that somehow, if I actually PLAY the game and not SEE the game it is going to look incredible?

Come ON! As long as the video is full resolution with no crappy compression (as are most Gamersyde videos), it is very fair to judge a game's graphics from full resolution videos. Oh and many stupid people have said it is the best looking game ever, and Gamespot's reviewer being one of them......I say, how quickly they forget about PC games, such as Crysis. The fact is just a bunch of hype that is overblown by AWESOMELY directed cutscenes.

And the Gamersyde videos show some TERRIBLE AI and somehow reviewers and gamers alike PRAISE the AI as well.

Yeah, like how they stay in the doorway just looking at you for 4 seconds while you shoot their faces? How they dance around them and they don't do s***?

Come on. I don't think the game is bad by any means, but I think this game is one of the most overrated games in history, and pretty much all over positive impressions and reviews are extremely swayed by hype.

The game has its flaws, and has been overpraised by the press, but that doesn't change anything to the fact that it's amazing in its own way.

It's MGS. Gameplay and graphics are secondary since the atmosphere makes up for any flaws you can think of.

I'm sorry I have a question. On Outer Heaven video at 4:40, 6:38 and especially at 8:15, was that a joke by Kojima or what? This is a stealth game? Hmn..........The AI was jaw dropping there, so that camo also blinds people......

I know it is awesome in its own way, and it is over hyped and isn't just the press. It even at points looks like a AAA game to me, but that is all.And this right here, is what makes all my points valid. I don't think there is more to say.

I dont believe it, why these kinds of comments never get deleted. But if there's any bad comment about the 360 or an 360 game u get an lifetimeban.

Actually Halo 3 is the most overrated Game in Gaming-History. MGS4 just deserves the Hype and the Review Scores. If u never played it then pls don't judge on the game only because u are a fanboy of a certain other gaming platform!

I also played Crysis but compared to the Tech i have in my PC and the one the PS3 has the Graphics MGS4 has are beyond everything i played! The Cutzenes just look like some prerendered Square Enix Stuff but they are in Realtime, which is quite amazing. And the best thing is that there is no difference between the Cutzenes and Gameplay!

Well that's a GAME. When you have a 90%+ camo and you're in shadows, you're considered invisible. If you don't move enemies can't spot you.

Yeah but he's wrong. The gameplay is fun. There isn't enough in MGS4, that's a valid complain, but to say it doesn't matter, that's just nonsense. Anyway MGS4 is not your typical game, it's half a game half a 10hours OAV concluding the Metal Gear Solid saga, it's meant to be appreciated by a certain crowd and can't be judged in the same way you'd judge a normal game. It's a different experience.

No idea[and im currently borrowing the game] Its looks good but there are much better looking games imo.
