these are cool. they really set the mood and creat depth in the characters. and once again, the animations are just stunning (as is the directing --trucks passing behind, the sound etc -- and the text itself).

I always forget that these games have actual campaign modes with a storyline and everything. But that guy's little man vs. army comment actually reminded me of a moment in MGS4.

In a hidden codec scene Otacon refers to Snake as the most insane bad ass in the history of the world, after finding out Snake single-handedly took down an enemy tank (impossible IRL). He actually says "Snake, you're... the shit!" Lulz were had.

I love it, the developers and marketing teams are mental smart!

Creating these videos adds such depth to the game that it will be more successful, as the hardest challenge for any game is to get that feel, that atmosphere right. One important thing it needs to do this are characters that are believable, as well as the fact we should feel we can sympathise or even empathise with the characters at times.

The best thing about BFBD are the funny, yet useless trailers. The game itself is very mediocre. But I have to admit that those marketing boys at Dice are doing a great job at making this look like a great game.

And what do you mean useless? when is a trailer useful? because if this one isn't then i sure don't knwo what is. because as RazorbackVII pointed out, this helps adding depth to the game, get to know the characthers, give them depth, show the mood, the story, the background...

Dude, a modern warfare game with characters I can actually CARE about?! Unlike CoD 4, GRAW, Denied Ops, etc.

This is insane, I'm loving these dudes in B Company, they sound very believable. Wonder what happened with that chopper? :P
