The 720p vids look kind of upscaled too :S

However... I think the character models looks stunning. Probably the best in-game models of this generation :) And besides... I love japenese character design.

i hope the recent rumour of kratos for the ps3 version is true, it'd be a no brainer which version to buy if he was in it.

It's not. It's just another silly rumour started by EGM, if it were from any other magazine or website, I may have held out hope, but not them. They make up things like this all the time, and it seems far too close to release for them to announce such a big name bonus character.

HAHA!! Nice try but it's obviously just a worthless rumor. Besides, they would've announced something like that by now if he was in there. So I guess you might as well buy the 360 version for better online play and achievements :P

This game will be amazing. I just hope there's better background interaction this time.

but yoda is such a douche? but then the inclusion of anyting star wars in a SC game is totally rediculous to begin with, but at least vader is cooler then yoda. wont be playing online anyway, as with any fighting game. its all about the tourny's round your mates house.

Looking forward to playing as Yoda a lot more, but c'mon. It's very obvious they're going to end up as DLC for the opposite platform quite quickly. I wouldn't use the bonus characters as a reason to get it for one platform over the other. If Kratos makes it in, then it might be a different story, but again, it was clearly nothing more than a silly EGM rumour.

There's only one character in the game yet to be announced, and it's most likely a weapon master/clone character, like Olcadan, Charade or of course, the Weapon Master.

Why's that?

I always felt like DOA had animation over any Soul Calibur game, but after seeing these videos I have to say they are on par with DOA now. The animation is really nice and much more fluid
