As usual, the bonus video of Gears of War 2 included with the 360 version of Unreal Tournament 3 has been leaked early, and you can now download it here with a not great but still watchable quality.
Update: 720p version up!
Update 2: Video deleted at Midway's request.

That look awesome and thats the online part of the game most online game don't look that good! I know the single player campaign will look even more awesome make me whish I had a 360.

At first i hoped so too....but after thinking about it I think it is better this way. I mean if someone takes you hostage you would have to wait until he kills you or he is killed - so some idiots would most likely take you and hide just to piss you off.. plus if you play a mode in which you can re spawn it doesn't matter to you anyway or your team.

Hummmm thats a good way of looking at it.

Becoming a corpse when you're taking as a meatshield is the best option.

I just can't wait for this game, for the SP and the MP. Honestly, Gears 2 looks be the whole package.

Moi je vois un multi ennuyant et qui ressemble trait pour trait a GOW1 ,les icones sont exactement les neme a voir en solo pour ma part le multi sera sans moi!

What I really love about Gears 2 is that you can now blow away the environment almost to the extent of BFBC. Being able to blow a hole in the floor and popping Grubs in the head from above is very... very... cool IMO =)

I have no idea why people are complaining about the graphics when the multiplayer seems to be extremely robust and balanced.

What more do you want to see? That bit what was shown displayed the most beautiful visuals I've yet seen.

Opinions, opinions I guess.

I've learned better than to trust a trailer on it's own without knowing anything else about the game. The trailer really didn't show much of anything besides some running and platforming. Nothing else is known about the game, combat? Story? Will this game look the same when they show it again?
I have seen too many games show ONE singular trailer and been let down. Videogames have a habit of doing that this and last generation.

Yeah, I have to agree with you on that one. For all we know there won't be more than two enemies on screen at once in a lifeless environment without much environmental interaction. Games often get downgraded indeed, sometimes devs even blatently lie when calling something ingame when it isn't. But what has been shown, looked beautifull...especially from an artistic point of view. So I'll agree that I jumped the gun a bit on that one.

Gears has shown what it can do and besides some "overpromising" on certain features shown in the early techdemos, it came through. Gears 2 will improve on that and will undoubtley kick serious ass. But certain aspects of the artistic design put me off which makes me prefer other games over this visually.

I don't really like the artistic design too. The guys look like your average generic buff Arnold hero like most American games.

Still the graphic are very nice. CliffyB is COOL. !

Perhaps you should go look at the last 8 paged Gears of War 2 thread, with the PS3 fanboy ramblings. This is tame, in comparasion.

Firstly, the Killzone 2 thread is not worse by any means than that 10-ish page Gears 2 thread. I'd hardly calling the comments in the Killzone 2 thread trolling, because the screenshot shown looks awful. Of course we know the game looks better than that in motion, but most of the comments do address the low textures in the screenshot. How you can knock Gears 2 graphically is 'fanboyism' for the most part.

Character design mainly, as well as enemy design. Truly ugly character design imo. The details on them are fantastic (sans some drab lighting on the skin at times) but the design is just horrible. The overly greyness/browness puts me off as well.

The environments are dropdead gorgeous though! I love the depth of field and motion blur effects. Some aspects like tree's and such looked pretty bad in Gears1. I'm glad they've addressed this in Gears2, and now the tree's actually sway in the wind and such. In Gears1 there's also a lot of muddy textures from the distance. Once you come closer you can actually see the more detailed textures "glide" in. I hope they'll address this in Gears2 as well.

Looking at Dead Space and Gears2 it probably isn't fair to say I think Dead Space looks better without mentioning it's mostly the artistic design that I prefer (though I think it's very impressive from a technical standpoint as well) and to also note that Dead Space mainly takes place in corridors (as far as I've seen) and that Gears2 features some huge open environments.

I'm convinced Gears2 is a bigger technical accomplishment, just not always that visually appealing to me. ;)

Don't be so ridiculous. There's a clear difference between an opinion and a blatant attempt at trolling. Just because you don't think Gears 2 has the best graphics seen on a console, doesn't mean you are trolling. Heck, not even I think Gears 2 has the best graphics on a console. However, saying that it looks identical to Gears 1 or that the graphics are simply awful is trolling.

Knocking Gears 2 graphically is 'fanboyism' whilst saying that it isn't the best graphics seen on a console can be seen as an opinion.

"Greys of War"

That was one of the most muted color palletes I've seen. The first one looked better, although I suspect the second one will play better. Overall, there's stalled progression for this game for at least multiplayer, I think.
