PS3

Our friend DjMizuhara just sent us this video from the demo version of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm on PS3. Now this is a good looking game, very impressive.

Game looks like a button masher just like the other Playstation based Naruto games.
It may LOOK like the show, but the last I remember Naruto can't endlessly do the Rasengan
Hardly any of it looks like it takes into account the limitations or story of the characters

Button masher = fail
Have you played it? Only way to know if a game is a button masher as majority of the time you see a fighting game being presented, unless something of a tournament level, it is being shown by extremely unskilled players. Your complaints of him doing Rasengan are a reflection of this. Just someone unskilled who repeats a strong move that they learn. Also, considering there is a story mode, they are taking it into account.

err naruto the character is a HORRIBLE button masher....kage no bunshen every bloody time, hes rubbish

anyway, to me this is definitely the best cell shading combined with animation...none of the other cell shading games I have seen have impressed me with their animation at all....

PoP could take the crown however...definitely

I really dislike the voice acting here though

ok.guys calm down.but u must admit that this is the best looing and best shaded NARUTO ever.the graphic is awesome and a lot of combos to make.but i think if they add a clever SIXAXIS motion, which can be switch like on/off it can be interesting...im still giving this game 10/10 as the best naruto game ever D

The point is, you shouldn't be able to do a Rasengan more than twice in any fight. End of story. I don't care whether the person is a "newb" playing the game and abusing a powerful move, it simply shouldn't be possible in the first place.
You can see a button masher simply by how characters move in a game, it doesn't matter how skilled anyone is. Not that it matters but in my experience, every Sony Naruto game that has come out has been a button masher.
Also last I heard this game has no single player function and it's just a fighter.

Go to their website, there is a single player function. If you looked at how EGM played SFIV in the first videos, the game looks extremely simple repetitive, however that isn't the case in the slightest.
