Ubisoft sent us this new batch of images and artworks unveiling a new character of Soul Calibur IV, and surprise this time it's not a girl but a manly man named Algol.

scarey stuff, he looks like he maybe linked to the swords (red arm soul edge, blue arm soul caliber and the pictures with the soul caliber styled shield thing)

the pic of the dude sitting on the throne is exactly like a Kain's artwork from a while ago. I bet they based this artwork on that picture.

Everyone draws barbarian/warrior/etc. kings sitting like that. Krauser from KOF sits like that, Conan from Age of Conan sits like that, etc. Seriously, you guys are reading into the way he sits too much.

Yes, he is the last boss from what I know. He is the one holding that handle with the eye in the trailer. Some Remnant of the Soul Edge?

He does look badass. hopefully he is unlockable. (probably will be)

Wait, Ubisoft sent these screens to you guys? I thought Namco was publishing the game as well.

Edit: I just Wiki'd and found that Ubisoft is publishing it in Europe.

blmbox Yeah, but judging by the content of both reviews, Eurogamer didn't particularly care much for the game anyway. They probably only gave it an 8 to avoid controversy - the review sounded more like a 6. (8 Hours ago)

SimonM7 Yeah sure, but from what console reviews are saying it's perfectly adequate. I mean I'm sure PC is the way to go, but I sincerely doubt we're seeing a 5 to 9 split score wise or anything. (10 Hours ago)
